- In this weeks episode we visit an incredible tiny home which has been constructed out of an old grain silo and transformed into a whimsical yellow submarine themed dwelling. For those who love ultra creative projects, this is a must see video!
The yellow submarine has almost entirely been constructed using up-cycled materials. From old spa baths to radar domes, you'll be amazed at how all these old parts have been combined to create a remarkable small bnb.
For Keith And Jen, this project was all about putting their creativity to the test, having fun, and creating a tiny house experience that would be entertaining for visitors.

I really love this brilliant example of extreme up-cycling! 💓 It's absolutely amazing what some people are able to accomplish using items that so many would just consider to be junk. There's an incredible amount of creativity which has gone into building this place! I hope you all enjoy this episode. With love, Bryce & Rasa

HELLO
This one we are enjoying man trust me.cheers
All I can say is......WOW! 💕
This just made my spirit SO happy!
The best part of these videos are when the personalities of the owners shine right along with their unique homes!
I totally agree Sarah. :)
i couldn’t agree more!
Absolutely true lol
God bless everyone!
Totally! :) I love that they adore their works as much as we do :) Good one Bryce.
He's hilarious 🤣 gotta love this bloke
"Kids become adults and adults become kids again"... ahhh poetry
It really is!
My mom used to say, “Once a man, twice a child.”
@@gutchiespencer2714 Bob Marley also phrased that in one of his songs :)
@@caroline9306 Bob Marley did'nt ever exist, its a fake , invented character
@@ALLNAMESAREALLREADYT lol what??
I love Keith's character. He has the dream of child, the creativity of a teenager, the hunger to pursue a dream of a young adult, the determination to make his dream come true of a matured adult, and the wisdom and experience of an aged man. Also, he has a good sense of humour.
The way this man speaks and his dry, sarcastic humor remind me quite a bit of Harrison Ford. Wonderful tiny house! :)
👏👏👏👏
Preach!
He reminds me of the singer in Love Actually. :-)
@@MariePierCharron Bill Nighy for sure!
At least it would be if it wasn't a brilliant knock off from India lol
Just when I thought this channel had already done it all..
I honestly think we will never see it all! There's no limits to what people can create.

I don't disagree :)
That’s exactly what I thought !!

Exactly!!
doesn't he always? it's what i love
We stayed here on New Year’s Eve, and kept it a secret from the kids till we arrived, it was amazing! Every single detail has been thought of. My kids discovered the game battleships in the sub and have been playing it ever since. I remember when I asked Keith how he built it, he told me it was actually an old Russian submarine that sunk in the North Sea and was bought back up then shipped out to NZ, he seemed very disappointed that I didn’t believe him, what a wild and necessary imagination to create such a beautiful thing! It’s buckets of fun, please do go stay there!
Oh wow me and my friend stayed there last year in March. Loved it we were in totally awe driving up to it at night. Signed the book before we left. Good night sleep. If you have a chance stay there do it. Once in a lifetime experience. Ahoy to all who have been there. 😀sitting on the yellow deck in the morning having breakfast is just wonderful. Enjoy life and be safe. 💙
Where is located? I’d love to stay there!
@@TelmaFrege hi i went to Airbnb and Google for places at Manton. Type in yellow submarine. We came from Australia and sorta got lost. Going up the coast road then inland from Wellington is the way to go. Enjoy it. Sitting in the captain chair upstairs is a amazing. Ahoy and dive into the deep waters of the Ocean. 😄
It's near Marton in NZ. Towards the bottom on the north island, about 2 hours north of wellington.
dohicky98 thank you I knew I got the spelling wrong of the place. I should have checked first before I wrote a reply. Be safe and have a great day.
I met Keith at a Tiny Home convention several years back, a real can-do attitude, a No. 8 wire technology professor! You should do a story about his Colonial Cottage, definitely made me want to build my own instead of getting someone else to do it. It must have taken a few takes this video though, because Keith swears like a sailor! hahaha...
I want to see the colonial house too. Uh, I guess it's just about inevitable he have a...strong personality.
I really want to see the colonial house too!
@@AngelavengerL check the latest week's episode on this channel, he and Jen are back with their colonial house! 🏠
this tiny house looked so small from the outside and i couldn’t imagine how you’d be able to live in that comfortably but it seems so huge from the inside, i love how creative and interesting this is
Thanks Svea! Glad you liked the tour. :)

"I now have a big yellow toy in my backyard and I can return to my childhood any time". HOW WONDERFUL IS THAT STATEMENT?!!!???!? Bryce I absolutely loved this video! Keith is a genius and I thank his wife for allowing him to live out his whimiscal dream. Thanks Bryce - take care and be safe my friend. ;))
I think his wife was quite into it too. The steampunk hat she was wearing and referred to a couple of times along with him make me think they are in this adventure together 😆 so cute!

"I now have a big yellow toy"
"I think his wife was quite into it"
"yes, you're right"
"Whimsical" doesn't even begin to describe it. And it's one of the larger tiny houses too! Nicely done!
Even without this wonderful and whimsical tiny house, I think Keith and Jen would be absolute fun just to spend a weekend with. Thank you Bryce and Rasa, Keith and Jen for sharing this with us.
Wow, this house takes the word "up-cycle" to a whole new dimension. Never thought i'd see an old plastic suitcase reused as a shower basin.
I love how he talks about returning to his childhood for inspiration. It's so true that's often where the best ideas and dreams come from, we just have to get them back again and believe in them 😍
Absolutely!
Pippa you are absolutely right!
"Blind panic is an essential ingredient" - No truer words have ever been put together so hilariously!
I love that there are people like this in the world.
I just cannot imagine coming across that in the forest..... Human ingenuity is remarkable and so are these owners! Thank you both for a great video!
That is probably the most I've ever seen you smile Bryce. I'm glad you had so much fun in this video!
This is the single coolest, most creative tiny home ever!!
Honestly this is so unique, I just started saving money so hopefully in 5 years I cna build my own🤞
Thanks Sophia! All the best with your own build.

I admire this man who has the patience, the guts, the brains to build this yellow submarine to call his home!!! Hats off to you sir!!👍 Ya` see, The Beatles shook the world. They have inspired almost everyone on the planet in many ways. LONG LIVE THE BEATLES!!!! Peace and Love✌💚 from sunny🌅 Greece⛵💦

I love the genuine smile of Bryce while someone explaining about their home.. He is equally excited as them.. Keep it up bro.. Be genuine
I love how you can tell that he put his soul in his house, such an amazing job👏🏼🤩
My claustrophobia kicked in immediately and I couldn't wait to "get out" but what a fun place for the right people! Loved the quirkyness of the owner's personality!
I've said it before but i think that I'm gonna say it again, THIS IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE. I just wanna have drinks with him and listen to him tell stories in there.
Yay! Glad you have a new favourite. :)
Watching this episode while I'm in our outdoor hot tub. Must say that is one creative use for a discarded shell! Made me chuckle...
Loads of imagination for this b&b. Must be fun for kiddos!
Bryce, I've been dealing with a frustrating and painful and scary urinary issue since late April. So far, no great help from my urologist who seems not to care. Finding someone else during this pandemic is not so easy. I'm in a bad mind space and break down a lot. I want you to know that I anxiously await each of your new videos and watched practically every one on your fascinating channel from past years. Your personality and smile and mannerisms and voice are very much enjoyed and appreciated. It's like my therapy for 15 minutes. A sincere thank you and keep up the great work.

Very cool! As an aside, your videos are an absolute masterclass in small crew filmmaking. The way everything is shot and edited (not to mention the smooth drone work) makes it seem as though it's a big TV production. Keep up the quality work!
Thanks so much Brandon! We are always trying to get better at what we do and improve our production. Glad you're enjoying the show!

This house is just amazing! At first, looking at the exterior of it I thought I would be claustrophobic in it but when they went inside the house, I just wanna live there in a heartbeat! Kudos to the team and to Bryce for bringing up this channel. Been a fan of your channel and I love how you showcase different houses with people with great personalities in it!
I love this soooo much! My childhood come to life. My sisters and I used to march around the living room singing, "We all live in a yellow submarine." Then we'd go out to our treehouse and dream!
Bryce having belly laughs throughout the tour was so nice to hear. This gent and his partner are very fun people and you can tell by their very creative tiny home! 😀
It looked way smaller on the outside. That’s really cool. I love these themed homes. Really proves to you that you don’t need to spend $100,000 on a tiny house to make it feel like home.
Yup! Just a whole lot of creativity. :)
Bryce has remained a child in his heart. His eyes have seldom shone like this, haha ...
Who else heard the Beatles singing Yellow Submarine in their heads?

Oooh that was my first thought ❤️
There’s a yellow submarine hotel in Liverpool
I love it, it’s even better with the bathroom featuring an escape hatch that seems incredibly funny
It probably helps with the humidity
i can not stop laughing at his jokes,, he is hilarious,, specially when he said "you can fit everything in a sardine tin if you try "
Oh my! What a cute couple. I love how his wife was on the look out for a yellow submarine. This is the perfect couple and yellow submarine home. 💛
It’s so awesome how he’s saved so many cool bits and bobs from the landfill!
Absolutely! Some really amazing up-cycling here.
Wonderful, but needs an Octopus hugging the the submarine and yes a seal ... :-) I love it. I was grinning the whole video. This is how a self made submarine must look. Welcome back childhood dreams. My father helped me to build small submarine in our garden, made from old washing machine parts, plywood etc. And, it was painted yellow. It was one of most wonderful places on earth for a 8 year old boy.
Peter Heß - there is a painted octopus on one corner...will that do?
Growing up, me and a friend made a submarine out of a coal bunker...great fun, but we got covered in coal dust every time we played in it!! My friend’s mum had to clean me up before letting me go back home across the road! (I was only six, and he was five!). 🤣🤣
@@moragpotter4609 Every childhood submarine is the best in memories :-) also the coal bunker version.
I like the unique yellow submarine tiny house for vacation purpose only. I like everything yellow like the yellow chairs outside. But twas a work of art really. Thanks Bryce & Rasa.
Oh, wow. When I saw this I actually started crying. In a good way. This is sheer brilliance!!

This home is incredibly imaginative and unique! I'm always in awe of folks like Keith - people who turn old junk into functional art are real treasures. Kudos for this beautiful (and super fun) build!
Well said! It's really inspiring to see what's possible with old junk!
As we live a life of ease
Everyone of us has all we need (has all we need)
Sky of blue (sky of blue) and sea of green (and sea of green)
In our yellow submarine (in our yellow, submarine, ha ha)
We all live in a yellow submarine 🎶
been smiling all throughout this video.. Keith reminds me so much of my dad, who is also a Beatles fan and I first heard the Yellow submarine song playing in his van while we were driving somewhere back when I was little. I remember being fond of this song but the only lyrics I kept singing over and over was the chorus. Also Bryce, you are the cutest thing at the end of the video! LOL! I definitely enjoyed watching this episode and would love to stay in this Yellow submarine someday too!
That is absolutely fair dinkum one of the best ever tiny houses.......imagine a family with young children staying there....it would be an absolute adventure of GINORMOUS proportions.......even more amazing that it was done for 20K with all those dozens of unique items throughout.
I SALUTE YOU CAPTAIN
Just finished the video, and i have to say that this tiny house is incredible!! The amount lf work put in it.. The small details that it has!! It's amazing!!!
I can feel how excited Bryce was to see this house!!!
Thanks so much! I really was. So glad you enjoyed it too.
This is the most resourceful, cleverly built tiny house I've ever seen!!
OMG that’s all in a grain silo?!?! Mind blown this guys a genius. Seriously. Artist. I’m blown away. Love it. I’m actually paused at the opening to take it all in. In utter awe at what this man did to a rusty silo. Anyone can put paint on something but this...this is just wow
I just watched this on my tv you tube and went straight onto my iPad to comment, because I was just amazed at this tiny build, it’s fantastic. At first I thought it was an actual old discarded submarine and was shocked at all the different spare parts added to create the look, what imagination. I’m just sad it’s on the other side of the world as I live in England. I would definitely stay in the sub, I’m a 51yr old women but love all things nautical so does my husband. I also like the colonial cottage it would be great for my parents. Thanks Bryce for another great video.
Ringo and Paul need to visit this place!
Of course we are all singing the song in our heads while we are watching this.
We stayed there in 2018 and I'm a huge Beatle fan! They have a radio with Every possible version of Yellow Submarine. It was the most unique place we've ever stayed! We loved the absence of cell service and wifi. If you really needed it, you could heard a couple miles down the road. Loved the hatch! Loved this place so much. Add it to your bucket list!
That yellow sub put a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing,
Chris from Missouri
The ability to see a vision grow out of stuff that others call junk is priceless! I wonder how many of us have wanted a yellow submarine of our own. 😉
🎶 And the band begins to play...🎶
"We all live in a yellow submarine

Soon as I saw the house, I scrolled through the comments to see this!
I love so many of these, but for whimsy, this is my absolute favorite. Yellow Submarine is my favorite cartoon of all time. I must stay here one day!
