I couldn't help but burst out laughing when I read the comment below. It's ridiculous how easily people get deceived in the name of patriotism. Instead of conducting an investigation, they see it as a blow to national pride. Just like they would report fraud within their own country, the same should be done here.
What's important to understand is that you can't make decisions in the stock market based on emotions. By blindly supporting one company, you might make someone else rich, but it won't benefit you in the long run. If more money is invested in the same shares and discrepancies are uncovered, more people will lose their money.
The stock market isn't dictated by the actions of a single company; the allegations were made against just one company. Some individuals know how to manipulate our sense of patriotism for their own gain, wherever they go.

Important 2 things to note:
1. Adani is investing in critical infrastructure like ports and solar farms etc.
2. Hindenberg is actively trying to destablize Indian stock market and earn money by short selling in Indian stock market.
Exactly that is why it is dangerous for a country. Adani has critical investment of India in foreign countries. If base of Adani business empire is on debt taken against overvalued shares. It's threat for Indian foreign investment in long term.

The day I read the report I felt this time Hindenburg tactics aren't going to work and that's exactly what has happened on Monday.
Yes, it did drop slightly, but that's due to the general negative sentiment in the market rather than Hindenburg "exposing" SEBI chief.
If they just keep focusing on one company time and time again, next time people won't even flick an eye for their report.

2 of the 3 allegations are BS. Only the Agora Advisory allegation, may have conflict of interest, but again why should her husband be prevented from doing business. As long as Adani is not the client, I don't see the issue here. That she must clarify.

What is the credibility of the hindenburg reports ? Did they provide any account with authenticated data ? What is the credibility of the hindenburg itself when there is no postal address in their website ?
Their credibility isn't important (just as the credibility of a thief, dacoit, invader is not necessary), they are a Company that finds out companies they can Identify with poor financial hygiene so that they can publish a report, destablize them and sell them shortly.
The issue here is not that Hindenburg has written the report but, why doesn't the company, SEBI and Govt have an answer to their allegations and attack!? Why cannot the company be discredited with proper responses!?
Consider here that Adani now owns Indias security sensitive assets like Railways, ports and Airports. What will happen to them if Adani crashes !? A foreign buyer of those shorts might even own major stocks of those assets and basically Adani would have handed over the security of the nation to some malignant foreign power without effort. And if the govt were to Forcibly stop those buyers, it will start a war and if they want to buy back the national assets the Govt will have to empty out the exchequer to get them back without war.
Hence you should immediately start blaming Congress, Nehru, Pappu, Aurangzeb and Soros before all this happens.
My analysis - Adani group overdependence on government project is gonna cost them huge one day . I see no future of Adani in 10 yrs . While Ambani business model is far sustainable and less dependent than Adani , so Ambani will always be no. 1 in Indian business.

Sounds like Hindenburg still has short exposure to the stock from the positions they took the last time. Perhaps their strategy is to make a series of allegations and slowly unwind their short positions when the stock dips from the initial shock of their allegations. The stock might go back eventually once the allegations is disproved, but they would have used that opportunity to book profits or just simply close out some of the shorts.

There is enough evidence that the government favours Adani and giving it a clean chit without doing a comprehensive investigation is just trying to shield Adani. SEBI not doing the investigation gave Hindenberg enough to suspect that SEBI is hand in gloves with Adani.
