The movement derives its nickname from those bell-like sounds, which evoke the imagery of the Italian folk song-also known as “La campanella”-upon which the movement is based.

The Liszt version of la Campanella on the piano sounds so much more aggressive loud but the original Paganini version almost sounds happy and light.

I've been playing violin off and on for the last 30 years and there's no conceivable way I could ever play Pagnini, much less this piece.
When practicing 2 hours everyday for some years, you will be able to play Paganini at least for your private pleasure.

This iteration of the timeless classic as interpreted by David Garrett is the best I have ever heard, and I have listened to dozens of different recordings of this song. This just sends what is already an excellent piece to a completely higher level. Rather shocked it has so few views in comparison to some of the lesser works with higher counts. Theyre all missing out, severely.

He left out a few parts at the end with the left hand pizzicato. It’s the best part imo. 5:48 There supposed to be a few more measures there but he cut them out. Don’t know why because everything else is done so cleanly and precisely!
