- Hello again Chooms! It's finally here! A "good enough'" video showcasing Adam Smasher with the mod Enemies of Night City made by viperc48.
This took a long time to record and there were countless failed attempts. I still have a few plans regarding upcoming videos, but haven't started yet.
I'm on a new playthrough and want to showcase more of what ENC has to offer like Cyberpsychos, MaxTac, Oda and other miscellaneous things.

That's one way to put it
This is how I always envisioned this fight going. V putting up solid resistance while always being on the run against the living tank chasing and suppressing them. It genuinely feels like V is fighting for their life without being anything to scoff at either. Both are evenly matched, but playing perfectly to their expectations.

@@zakk3le598 If you do different versions of this fight for different builds, especially the classic gorilla arms brute play style, you absolutely have to keep that “I’m still not as strong as you” mindset apparent. Let them come in during opportunities to get solid punches in and back off, a fight using skill instead of brute force since CLEARLY that wouldn’t work.
@@aqualitymeme9476 Melee builds aren't the easiest to use. Especially against ENC Smasher. You don't want to be close to Smasher, quite the opposite.
Smasher's melee hits are brutal and has a Berserk operating system which makes melee combat with him all the more difficult.

Was bound to happen. To be fair Smasher fell and goofed up a few times so it'd only make sense for V to do as well i suppose.

the fact that you're using Based Malorian mod (which buffs the damage by the gun by x7 iirc), and he's still tanking it scares me drastically and i'm installing the mod as i'm typing this.
If i remember correctly Smasher had four times the HP he normally does.
@@zakk3le598 The default settings of Enemies of Night City Mod gives smasher 3.5x health and like double the damage. But to be honest that mod makes the endgame feel a lot more fun and challenging. Most bosses are a proper fight with it rather than being weak in vanilla.
@@henrystonefist2341For this video I was using Cyberware-EX which gives you more cyberware slots for all cyberware categories.
Despite the increased armor and stats some of Smasher's attacks are brutal and you can't afford to get hit by them.
Similar to ENC Kurt Hansen, getting hit once can mean death without the Second Heart.
@@zakk3le598 oh I know, Cyberware-EX is a must have mod, really let's you customize your character to a specific setup more.

What versions of enhancing Malorian firepower and rate of fire do you use?
@@DrAkuStrange I've set it like this: MalorianAttackSpeedMultiplier = 1.15
The Malorian doesn't really like stat changes. Changing the attack speed even slightly will let you sort of spam the 3516.

@@RongDMemer If you're talking about the 3516 attack speed, then same as any other mod for Cyberpunk 2077.
You download the mod (www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4278?tab=description) and extract the necessary files into the game's main directory
Edit: If you want to change the individual stats of said mod you'll need to do that by hand. The values for the attack speed are located in a file called: init.lua

The battle turned out great. I can actually physically feel the tension (because I spent about ten minutes knocking down Smesher on Very Hard with the enc mod).
I hope to see your battles with Oda and the mid-bosses you like.

I just attempted this fight on very hard + ENC, and holy fuck. One of the most busted builds I've ever used & currently 30+ attempts in with my best run getting him to ~40% health. It is insanely difficult

From 5:50 Is absolutely fucking insane. You got me so hyped to update on my 200 plus mods and get back into this on steam deck. I haven't touched it for like since the 2.0 update because enemies of night city was not updated for it. I'm so fucking happy man. This looks insane. It just kept getting better too. Like this is completely 100% more accurate.

Tho i should say that Viper, the author of ENC has already started making a new version of Smasher's boss fight.
I've beta tested it a few times and i can say that it's not easy. Smasher has even more abilities and they're bordering on being a bit unfair albeit very fun.
Hopefully I'll get around to making a video about it.
The entire sequence to the ending feels like Smasher’s cyberpsychosis is in overdrive
It turned out great, you just feel epic and that you are constantly on the verge of defeat. How hard was it for you to fight Adam in the fight shown? And the impression that the fight was going pretty hard, huh.
Definitely not easy. Few of Adam's attacks are very punishing if they hit you. Such as his machine gun attacks.
Also trying to make the fight feel cinematic and cool was the hardest part. I remember being on the edge of my seat when recording this particular fight.
I've done this fight so many times in preparation for this video and even the recording took a lot of attempts.

Its quite Interesting to see they updated him again. He seems drastically quicker now, able to shoot more accurate rockets, and move quickly while shooting his machine gun. Can't wait to fight him on Very Hard with Enemies of Night City Mod.

He responds to you using a Sandevistan or Kerenzikov and will activate his own to keep up with you.
Smasher's new attacks are also deadly. Like the HMG attack which can shred you quickly. He also uses his Berserk quite often which makes his melee attacks very deadly and giving him damage resistance.
He can even heal quickly in the middle of a fight. Tho not past certain stages.
All in all ENC Adam is no pushover. Go raid Arasaka Tower and get the borg fucker Choom!

Also due to ENC and some other difficulty tweaks i use Cyberware-EX's expansion mod that adds slots for every cyberware category. Thus the V in this video is essentially buffed. To have all this cyberware you of course need to have Technical ability at 20 and all cyberware oriented perks.
And if possible to acquire, cyberware capacity shards are pretty important too.
As for cyberware itself. Really up to personal preference tho here are a couple i would recommend having:
Militech Apogee Sandevistan
Hands: Immovable Force, Smart Link & Shock Absorber
Circulatory System: Isometric Stabilizer & Blood Pump & Biomonitor or Second Heart
Integumentary System: Chitin, Peripheral Inverse, Cellular Adapter, Pain Editor, Painducer
Nervous System: Deep-Field Visual Interface, Revulsor, Kerenzikov, Neofiber
Skeleton: Rara Avis, Epimorphic Skeleton, Universal Booster
Frontal Cortex: Axolotl, Kerenzikov Booster System & Self-ICE
Quantum Tuner (Only accessible with CET console or siding with Songbird in Phantom Liberty and helping her achieve her goals)
Arm Cyberware is up-to personal preference. Aside from Mantis Blades, i would recommend Gorilla Arms or the Projectile Launch System
As for other Attribute slots and perks. Most important ones aside from Technical are: Body, Reflexes and Cool. Perks are mostly up-to personal preference and only need to be oriented towards your play style.
As for weapons i'd just use whatever you like. I like the Malorian 3516, Order tech shotgun and YingLong SMG
Easily best fight in the game, this mod takes it to a new level. Just beat him while playing I Really Wanna Stay at Your House with my maxed V, one of my favorite bossfights of all time.
By the way, why not try storming the Black Sapphire one day? As I remember, this can be done when we come out of there in the storyline.
And judging by the number of guards, it could be no less epic than storming the Arasaki Tower, although it's unlikely that the mod made bosses there directly. Although, who knows.
At least for me the bhargest mechs were decently tough on very hard, i was using a netrunner smg build so it may be djfferrnt with q different build choice

Now what would be cool so you can see those awesome take down animations on smasher. Is each stage you have to use that take down to break off his armor. Like the glory kills in Doom 2016 and eternal in boss fights
I've combined this mod with Hardcore combat overhaul, and all the bosses are a nightmare. It takes so many shots to kill them but they can end you with 2 bullets or less. It turned Cyberpunk into an fps version of Dark Souls for me.
With ENC and Hardcore Combat overhaul the bosses and combat in general are very punishing whilst being fun for us Cyberpunk veterans.

I combined a whole lot more to make my asshole bleed a new shade of red but rn i got some troubleshooting cause whenever i use a ripper doc the game crashes

Are you using interactive rippers mod? That may be a reason for the crash but idk.

I like EoNC mod adding more challenging mobs for all missions, but turning the named bosses with %hp bar into that is not fun, it just sucks, it's not balanced.
I have +100 hours and I don't even grasp if the game has core combat mechanics like Dark Souls, because the normal gameplay is completely diferent from boss battles, it's a whole other game. It sucks even in vanilla, making it even worse with mods I do not understand.
To have to use literal cheating mods to counter balance it just means it sucks.
It's not really meant to be balanced. It's more about endurance. I can totally understand if this does not look at all enjoyable. And I actually agree on some parts.
Some things & additions made by the author are somewhat unfun.
It is kinda ridiculous that you have to use some mods to balance out the fight in favor on the player's side. And that's with the default health, regeneration and damage values.
And since this video came out. ENC Smasher has gotten even more buffs and abilities. Which borderline on being completely unfair.
I still enjoy these ENC bosses from time to time, but you do have some good points.
Me as a melee build: I don't see the problem
The ludicrous damage numbers are hilariously disappointing. And damaging Smasher with a Malorian 3516 is fan service joke. Hell, using anything smaller than a grenade launcher or full ‘borg weapons is asking for it.
Spectacular visuals though, that’s all.

I have my HUD limited as i prefer it that way. Although during this mission ( (Don't Fear) The Reaper ) V's health slowly drains. And when you get to Smasher's fight V's HP is already a lot smaller than what your maximum HP can be. Thus having a lot of Cyberware and armor is pretty important for succeeding in this mission.

I'm not sure. It might have some effect on Smasher. I haven't tried quickhacks & netrunning on ENC Smasher.
Smasher has a lot of resistances to different types of damage. At 1:10 you can see Adam's abilities. The two notable ones in this instance are: Thick ICE and Graphite Tissue. Both of these make quickhacking Adam harder. Thick ICE makes quickhacks less effective and last less. Graphite Tissue also does something similar.
@@zakk3le598 Ok, i basically checked it a bit and yes Cyberware malfunction from Fenrir DOES apply to Smasher although it took be couple of mags to work, he became stationary and pullled HMG right after i did that and then mowed me down in single burst, lol XD

I was most likely high when I recorded this. Also maybe some wrist cramps from hours upon hours of trying this fight.
Bro, does enc affect your fps?
It shouldn't affect your fps, at least i haven't ever noticed a dip in my performance.
Tho maybe on certain attacks and animations which include a lot of particles. The only one i can think of that might do this is Smasher.
how do u never run out of stamina
Good observation. For this video (and a couple of other boss fight videos) I've set the stamina to be infinite with CET commands.
It definitely makes the fights easier in terms of gameplay, but mainly it helps to make the video entertaining and "cinematic".
And also for blocking bullets, tho not deflecting as that is a bit too op with infinite stamina.
I also try not to rely on it too much, but it's definitely easier than normal gameplay.
One thing to keep in mind is that some of the bosses with ENC are brutal even with standard settings.
For this video Smasher's health and damage were slightly higher than what the mod's default numbers are.
The mod "System-Ex" (with expanded slots) was also used to have more cyberware & armor.
It really depends on the boss, but some bosses have attacks that will flatline you instantly.
Some examples would be Kurt Hansen's knife attacks and Smasher's HMG attacks.

All of these mods for Cyberpunk can be downloaded from Nexus Mods.
The mods also have dependencies that need to be installed for the mods to work.
