its sad how mature these kids gotta be at such young ages in that typa enviroment
Those little kids have been forced to grow up way too fast. It made me tear up hearing about the harsh realities they’re forced to face, but there was a rejuvenating spirit when I heard the kid in the red talk. The children in the beginning being so knowledgeable and opinionated on just straight violence literally within a block or two from where they lay their heads is so inspiring and also terrible at the same time. It feels sad to watch children develop a STRONG and unfiltered opinion that even other adults within the same video feel too paranoid to even express. The true insight of these types of videos that always hits me is how the kids react and who they are, despite their own environment. Seeing kids have more of a plan for their current situation, because of their naivety, hope for change, and negligence towards having to filter themselves, over actual grown adults who have lived in the environment for probably multiple years, should really be studied and harnessed because its both incredible and depressing at the same time.
