Kuina's death is a tough one to accept, I think a lot of it comes down to no matter how strong you are, not everything is in your control. And i do think Zoro partially blames himself. In the anime at least they mention she was going for a sharpening stone, a stone she only needed because she duelled Zoro. Some fans think "falling down the steps" is a way to say she did it intentionally. But i dont think anything has ever confirmed that, and i think her dying in a tragic accident is a sad enough way to go. I do think Kuina was partially brain washed by her dad about women being weaker than men. I could see growing breasts being an issue for a swords fighter. I don't know personally lol but I'd imagine it would effect your swings and sword strokes. I don't think Kuina is right, but i think she at least has a reason to think the way she does, and its awesome how insulted Zoro gets in response. He doesnt see her as a woman who uses swords, he sees her as a great swordsman who he wants to surpass.
