bit of a pet peeve of mine that i normally let slide, but since you're trying to learn spanish i'm gonna take a shot at teaching some pronunciation. jalapeño: pronounced halapen-yo. ñ has a n'yo sound. probably did a poor job at that, but hope it helps some. same rule applies to the itailian gn.
