RBR Tutorial - How To Enable Numeric Pacenotes

Do you like RBR but struggle with the Easy Right/ Fast Left Pacenotes? Do you wish it used Dirt Rally 2.0 style Pacenotes?

I might have made a mistake in the video. Where there seems to be some esoteric element to whether or not in the same session will the numeric.ini pacenotes be applied. Ive had it work sometimes, and others it still defaults to rbr.ini. Sorry about that. Still I find it helped me get a lot of confidence back simply by feeling more at home with the numeric pacenotes.
One thing is for sure. If you are in a stage and click file>save. That stage will stay in that style of pacenotes every session.

Swaped means that the number values are different 1 is hardest turn 6 is easiest. This is the way most rally drivers are using the pace note's.

The way I permenantly changed it was to open and swap the values within the config files from Numeric to RBR in ....\Plugins\Pacenote\config\pacenotes. I also swapped Extended into RBR in ...\Plugins\Pacenote\config
anges now when it loads both RBR configs like it does by default they are treated like Numeric/Extended. Works great. This was a huge pain because I play in VR and you cannot change them when in VR mode.

When I click save i get a DLS error saying failed to make a backup copy. any ideas on how to fix this?

Yes, there is. I haven't experimented with that yet. So I have two different voices giving me the calls. Distance calls are usually the default one, but the numeric pacesnotes are by another person. I think there are plugins specifically made to add/modify voices. Sorry I can't help you there yet. :/
You're getting the double voice because you failed to switch the selection in the second drop down menu.

Same here, no luck. Tried reinstalling visual c++ and dx9 but it doesnt work
