Tom Ford is more of a classic beauty type aesthetic than more Indie/Niche type brands like say, Natasha D or Pat McGrath - the less dramatic all matte palettes and differences between the colors are exactly what the more mature consumer is looking for! When you get to that ‘certain age’ (more of how well one’s skin is aging really) or if you have extremely hooded eyes you just cannot do that all “special shades” or even shimmers look! It makes the eyelid look too textured and makes you look old.
Great video - literally waiting for a bunch of TF quads to be delivered today that I ordered. LOVE Rose Topaz, Body Heat, Nude Dip, Forbidden Pink, etc. Wish I could still get suspicion!
I have PM and ND, yet I still absolutely love TF. It's spoiled me for other makeup. I love how I get the most sophisticated, complex or simple looks without spending 30mins on eye makeup.

I thought nude dip would’ve been #1 for you, you totally threw me with daydream! My all-time favorite, which has been discontinued, is white suede. I bought a back up from eBay, but I can’t find it anymore, but the cle de peau desert sand is very similar minus the dark color. Thanks for a great round up video Sofia!
I'm still impressed that you own 22 Tom Ford eyeshadow palettes! Wow! My favorite is Honeymoon, I have tried others and returned them for fading away too fast...But Honeymoon is the holiday palette to wear. Such cranberry vibes!
My favourite too. It’s stunning with just the two top shades and a black liner.

I got so lucky a couple years ago and got the Daydream palette at Bloomie's for like $45. I also got the discontinued Cocoa Mirage around the same time at Beautylish!! That was pure luck, just happened to see it on there and then it was gone! I have no idea how they got ahold of it but I was so happy to get it.
I wish they would bring these palettes back!

Thank you so much for putting Daydream in number one!! I do agree with you absolutely, it's a gorgeous, elegant and different palette from the rest of Tom Ford's collection. And its in the wet and dry formula, which, in my opinion, is still the best out of all TF formulas. Thanks for your great video❤❤
I almost missed out on Daydream due to a couple of bloggers rating it low. Then I saw a couple of youtubers with similar taste in makeup rank it the highest. My palette is buttery smooth and the colors are ethereal with depth. I'm so glad I have this in my collection.
I have 20 Tom Ford quads 😅 Nude Dip is my fave, although I had a similar experience to you as it was my first time with a formula that wasn't regular pressed powders and I didn't really 'get it' at first. I also love Double Indemnity, the best smoky eye that can also be made quite everyday wearable 😍 Cocoa mirage is still my favourite matte formula 💔 Your top choice came out of nowhere 😂 although I didn't know you had that palette!! It's a gorgeous one though, one of my favourite purple palettes in my collection 💜

hazy sensuality is my most favorite “pink” palette. i appreciate the elegant, softer look it gives.

Love this fun ranking! Honeymoon is my all time favorite eye shadow palette, Sous le Sable is an underrated workhorse, and Velours Khaki is a fab creme formula that I love in the fall.
I am very tempted to get velours khaki 😍
I love it, and I don't think the upper right shade necessarily screams green; it's got a beautiful bronzey shift that makes it so versatile.@@SofiaSeesBeauty
I only have one palette so far which is suspicion but I have my eye on nude dip and tropical dusk now, I really hope that move dream palette will come back, it looks gorgeous ❤ thank you for the ranking video xx
I agree with most of your rankings except the tiger eye, rose topaz, forbidden pink…. All turned to hard pan for me and the shimmers are basically useless. If there is a way to make them work, pls share! This is beyond the old scotch tape fix, they turned to like a putty type consistency and nothing at all comes off of them. I love metal lust bc I really do love the tone of it even though it is a one trick palette- I think it just suits my skin tone and coloring well.
Nude dip- first time I bought it I gave it away bc I didn’t understand how to make it look nice. Now I love it- now that I understand how to use the formula and appreciate the softness the older I get. I’m finding the watercolor type look to be the most flattering on me- brighter pigments just look too harsh on me and draw attention to my *maturity* 😅
My recommendation for the Creme formula is to not use a primer or sticky base and to use goat hair brushes
It might actually work with the good old sponge applicators? Perhaps you also need to remove the upper layer
I kept saying, "Nude Dip, Nude Dip" and then it appeared at #2! I love it! Violet Satine stays on my vanity. It is a lovely smoky gorgeous plummy type of vibe. And now I want Daydream! I actually have Rose Prisme, and I adore it. I know many people don't, but that lilac shade sells it for me. I also love reading through the comments about other TF quads I didn't know about. Thanks for doing this! I loved this video. I wish I could give it more than one thumb's up! I wonder, would you do a ranking for your Suqqu palettes?

At 49 quads (because I was buying every release at some point), it’s somewhat nice to see that I don't have the last 3 on your list since I started watching reviews. I also haven't broken into my Metal Lust since the two matte colors looks exactly like two of the colors from my Coco Mirage palettes...

YES I love Velolurs khaki, especially for fall! Wore it today! That upper right shade is a GREAT one and done always gets compliments.
Yes I have forbidden pink quad linked! It looks like there’s still some left. I haven’t tried the two Creme palettes from last year. I decided to skip those but might try to find them on sale this year 👌
@@SofiaSeesBeauty thanks, I’ll check it out! And hope you can find the crème ones, I think they’re beautiful. Side note, I have a theory with TF quads…you know how most quads have two shades that are quite similar? I find that one is usually cooler and the other is warmer - like a gold metallic and silver metallic,..or an olive green and forest green, etc. I think the idea is for us to pick three colors for each look and we have the option to do a warm look or cool look. Might not work with every palette, but the ones I have, that seems to be the case 🤷🏼♀️
Oh and I have 2 nude dip back up’s. Just in case it’s ever discontinued🤣

i agree with what you said about metallust! also rose topaz is so disappointing for me. the light gold shade hard panned to the point where I get no color at all when i swatch or use a brush. waste of a shade.
I feel like the Creme formula is something people absolutely love or they have trouble with the hard pan 😐

I got most of my Tom Ford Palette at the Cosmetic Company Store where we get older stock exept my first 2 at Sephora: nude dip and the limited edition, critically unliked Rose prisme. Turns out Rose Prisme is my favorite! From the other ones I love Super Nouveau and Pretty Baby. I also have nude dip(love), honeymoon and body heat and these last 2 i found similar but can’t part with. I did part with Leopard sun, that was no bueno!
One day I will make it to the CCS! We do have one in Massachusetts but I don’t have a car 😂😂

Nude Dip is my favourite from TF. Also love that purple one even though I'm not a purple lover. I wish TF would re release some of his older quads as I've stopped buying his eyeshadows as they're all so same same now.
This was such a helpful video. Well done!! You nailed me, my first Tom Ford Quad was the New Dip too. I was trying to find a palette that I saw demoed on another channel, but sadly that wasn't one of the ones you had. Perhaps it was discontinued a while back (like 2022 or so?) anyway, I still learned so much from you. My only suggestion was that it was SO HELPFUL to see you wearing the palette that you mentioned and the few times you didn't were the ones I most wanted to see you in. sigh. This was my first time popping into your channel and was so impressed so for sure, I'll be following you now.

This was great! I agree about Nude dip. I actually returned it when I first got it because I really didn’t get it. I ended up using it (with another pallet) for my wedding! There is something about the wet/dry formula that just looks better than anything else I own. I have had a hard time with Forbidden Pink, though, because it pretty much immediately hard panned and I couldn’t return it. I love half of that pallete LOL

My heart broke when I had to declutter cocoa mirage. I wish Tom Ford came out with a quad with the same formula. Photosynthesex is another one I'd put in addition: I really enjoy the duochrome and color story! I couldn't make daydream work for me, I think lunasol and suqqu do colorful shades better, at least for me.
I never had Cocoa Mirage but always wanted it. But I do have Mink Mirage which is very similar. Sadly, I don't think they sell Mink Mirage anymore. Not sure

I have forbidden pink , I found it last month at the CCO last one and I grabbed it so fast and only paid 45$ for it and I'm in love , I ware it all the time . I have hazy sensual and day dream it was my first( my love) and I'm adding slowly . I'm in love with TF . I thought the wet dry was my fave but I really love the creme formula now too and I'm debating on getting another creme first or nude Dip . I have been eyeing nude Dip for the longest . I plan on buying the new holiday TF pallet that hasn't released, it looks pretty but it's another new formula.

Its funny but I have bought multiple Tom Ford over the years and returned them because i just didnt find them special. The only one i have kept is the Smokey Quartz and I absolutely love it to death!! It’s like the best mini-matte palette in my opinion and therefore is a great companion or standalone quad imo. Enjoyed the rankings though haha

I love love love TF eyeshadow ❤️ This spring I got Forbidden Pink quad and it’s become one of my favorite pallet , but …after less then 1 month of use…it formed hardpan … and i kind of taking care my makeup … clean brushes and no fingers (anymore 😅) I have only this pallet in cream formula and just curious if someone else have the same issues with cream formula? Or maybe any recommendations how to use it to prolong life of this particular type of formula? I still thinking about to buy new Forbidden Pink quad till it’s still available in tf website…but worry about yo have same issues…

My #1 palette is Soleil d’hiver. I love it so much, I even have a backup 🤫🤭 second choice is probably Apres Ski and then Suspicion. Gave away Nude dip to my mom, she appreciates the color story way more than me. You have such a great collection.

Nice! I like more warm orange browny tones instead of the rose pinky types can you suggest me some warm eyeshadow palettes or your other faves? My favourite quad is Hazy Sensuality 😍, then silver medal goes to Suspicion and bronze for Nude Dip. I missed a few quads but the new one from holiday collection looks very goos. I hope is pigmented. XOXO

@@Ohkeh640 my faves warm tones, the Charlotte Tilbury queen glow , ( the copper is discontinued unfortunately) hudas warm mattes palette, huda empowered ( the majority is warm) ysl the Kasbah spices quad, the Bronze palette from Natasha Denona and Metropolis, the bobi brown heat ray , the charlote darling palette, the grand bal by dior, the clutch palette the big one from ysl the desert nude ( it was last years holiday palette) the leopard sun from Ton ford, the ambient and warm neutrals from sigma, the fierce 6pan from sigma, the sunset palette ( the big one from Natasha denona) the backstage bronze palette ( released now, ) these are some from what I'm still holding after decluttering some older palettes as some from too faced that they are released anymore) MY latest buy its the warm glow eye and face from bobbi brown and the Louvre/lancome ) and I still have some discontinued palettes from CT . ( I also have the bronze seduction from patmagrath but I dint really like it ) but her quint petic peach bronze from the love series is nicer although not a fan ftom patmagrath * And golden mink from Tom ford is also nice. Even gueliz from the new ysl quads is warm. These are some I can think of at the moment ( if I remember something I will add it 😂) Wish I helped a little bit .love from Greece 🇬🇷 ♥︎♥︎

Oh my goodness! Mink Mirage is nice, but $200 is mind boggling😮 I don't even think I've seen Serge Lutens quads sell at that price, and they are $160 new.

I love the Tom ford wet dry formula and I have a lot of those (nude dip is my all time fav palette of all time) but the rest of the formulas are not special in my opinion.
I actually don’t own any TF😮😮😮😮iknow. I just have to shop smart and$90 for 4 colors I can’t but if I choose. Nude dip
