Hope you guys enjoyed the video! 🔥 Red Lotus Flame Crime and Shining Star Dragon just dropped on Yugioh Master Duel! 🎉 These cards might not be game-changers, but they do give us some new options to play with. With Red Lotus now available, we can swap out Wildwind or Moonstar. Red Lotus is definitely the better choice since it somewhat searches Red Reign. Shining Dragon is cool, but not essential for any deck. Honestly, the Centurion engine does a better job, and sometimes Shining Dragon just ends up as a level 4 tuner brick. 🤷♂ I playtested Red Lotus to see how many copies work best in the deck, and personally, I prefer running just one. I tried it at two and three copies in a few games, and let me tell you, it was brutal! A lot of times, I would have Red Lotus and a level 2 tuner monster, and so far, only Soul Resonator helps Lotus out. Of course, you're free to playtest it and share your experience! personally I play one Red lotus in my Centurion build, red reigns once per turn unaffected effect + the Dark synchro cycle with Abyss plays good within my strategy. Mostly for budget builds i would probably play two red lotus, 1x fiendish, 1x Red zone, 1x Red reign.
In the TCG it's used for "The Black Goat Laughs" and "Rise to Full Height" in order to beat Tenpai with ease also yeah it's definitely in every RDA deck even as a one of
Hey man been paying attention to your RDA replays for some time. I use RDA at my local card shop for tournaments and events and I also think flame crime’s better off at one or two since it’s main utility is to set up red reign. With shining star, I prefer to side deck two of them because I only managed to pull off the crimson dragon to cosmic blazer play once in the last two weeks. I actually don’t use the centurion engine because even though it’s certainly the stronger version, I found the pure version more consistent with playing through hand traps. Anyway, keep it up with RDA 👍.

Red Lotus I can see working in my RDA Bystial deck but Shining Star not so much The new Raidraptor support is apparently coming soon so I guess that’s the next big focus? I’m looking forward to that with my gems & UR ready!

I would definitely say the new cards help out with providing more options to mess around with but Centur-ion is probably the better set of cards to play with in this deck. Great video nonetheless Zed!
They need to be showing blackwing love like this cause we got a few monster and a single spell but no actual blackwing synchro monster or any decent support for it

I was thinking of getting back into the game after a very long break and i’d like to build RDA on paper since it’s been my favourite archetype back then. I’m so happy they’re still around. What would you recommend would be the best build ? Thank you !
Going pure is the cheapest and most consistent out of all of them. If you want to climb up rank fater and have better endboards on one turn, and have the materials for it, then build the RDA Centurion engine
@@ZedLockYT oh i meant for on paper not for master duels. So to build the deck for actual play at home with friends. Since the card limit is also .. 40 right ? I basically stopped when Pendulum dropped so i’ve been out of it for a long time i need to familiarize myself with all the new changes
@@AkiraHime the max is also 60 in TCG & OCG, you can play around 40-60 cards. TCG & OCG RDA/Resonator you can play pure, w/ Bystial, or w/ Centurion. I play pure & w/ Bystial on OCG so I cannot comment of how good or bad w/ Centurion is

Unfortunately these cards kinda pale in comparison to what centurion offers us. And due to centurion we don't really have the backrow space to allow red reign most of the time. It kinda ends up as just a win more situation where we're mostly fine without it. I could only really see Flame Crime fit into a 60 Card TTThrust deck that already ran red reign or if you run it in pure/bystial more so for it being fun. That being said I'd totally run the flame crime in any none centurion deck or when I run 60 card TTThrust centurion
Yeah, Centurion is still personally the best in terms of the combos and endboards. In the 40/60 RDA Centurion deck I added Red Lotus in replacement of moonstar to fully utilize the crimson+bone combo

Never mind missing the timing on Trishula... did that absolute genius Sky Striker player try to use Change of Heart... on a Red Reign effect immune monster? Truly reading is the final boss.
@@garrett2857 Crimson Dragon summoning it needs to be chain link 1. If it's chain link 2 it will miss the timing. In this case, it's a good idea to toggle on, which you can do in MD and DL to make sure of that. Monsters that have their effects as "When they are summoned" instead of "If" will miss the timing if summoned on chain link 2.
It's just a little harder to bring out because of the Soul and Bone combo XD. Unline in Centurion we have a way to summon Supernova because of Crimson Dragon. We can still summon Supernova by Rising + Vision + Vision + Crimson, but I prefer summining 2 disruptions for it

Yeah, Shining a huge brick like a said in my comment. Centurion does a better job than Shining XD. Reason on why it's 3 is because fsr it never comes to my hand and I can't showcase it properly XDDD I think having it on 2 is fine

It's a very good card, but I honestly want the new supports to come with it XD. After what I just went through playing my last BlueEyes, I'm holding that off until the supports come XD
I play tested it on 2x and 3x, and personally like it on 1x more. For the meta righht now, Droll is honestly a little better than Veiler, because of Yubel and Fire King. Personally felt that Veiler is useless against a good Yubel player

How does the timing work for Trishula? Did he need to place its summoning on chain link 2 instead of 1? Or just not chain anything at all to it?

Yeah, we can do that unless we're bringing back Crimson Reso for it's effect. If we also have Lotus on the field we cannot activate Crimson's effect

How do you summon the Cosmic Blazar Dragon? There aren't any tuner synchros?
With Crimson Dragon. Target a another lvl 12 monster in the field, then it can summon Blazar

You can still add Red Lotus and Shining in the Centurion engine. Still, Centurion is still superior with the endboards

I playtested how many copies would do better, and personally 1 is just better. It's searchable with Soul anyways
