My first challenging match on CoH3 launch day vs none other than Pro CoH1 player Pepsi. This was a really fun match and I hope you enjoy it!

Great match! Your Intro was the most excited I've heard you be about a match so I had to watch it between of my own coh2 games.
Terrific game. So intense, so many fun back and forth engagements. Your opponent was fantastic to watch, bringing constant pressure. You adapted very well, changing tactics and positions. Amazingly you managed to weather the storm of his mortar and infantry pressure to come back. I think those medic trucks might be one of my favorite new units with how they can prolong a frontline battle at the cost of man power...yet it almost drained you completely. Subscribed.
I have to say, it would be nice if you could do a series where you explain your moves/commentate the gameplay while playing, would be great to hear your thoughts as you play

@@HelpingHans it would be kinda hard during a game ( to much to focus on) but you could add a little commentary track after. Maybe don't over do it just talk about big moment and what you where thinking. Adds more work though, but i think it would be worth it

question. does the stug in this game still have that medium tank attack range? also do they still make the tiger a "meat shield"/brawler instead of you know... "a semi tank hunter with attack range just below allied TD"??
Only played a few games with DAK, never knew you could upgrade a support truck to heal your units! Thats awesome
You can't, it is a distinct unit built from the first tech building. The 250 halftrack can only be upgraded to an autocannon or a mortar variant if you have got the corresponding research completet.
if you call in a 17lber, you can use THAT support truck as a medic/AA.
For the DAK, this is not the case. You have to build the support truck unit specifically if you want to turn it into the medical.

Am I the only one who finds the minimap completely illegible? Like minimap should be as clear as possible, where you just glance and don't stare at it, here if I take a quick look I don't see anything, colours are too low to see where my stuff is

soundtrack is marvellous
it's amazing how much better the game looks on your own screen. Streaming quality really suffers.
Also, anyone else finding the Axis to be quite powerful? maybe a tad too much?
If anything Brits are op. Those sections with AT rifles just wreck anything.
Games actually really balanced other than AT loiters. Although certain things like the panther and the crusader AA feel really bad right now
German flamers feel extremely powerful to me. Ive had 2 vet flamer squads go up against 1 german flame squad and he killed both of mine in 2 blasts.
The AT gun that rotates faster than a tank turret and can fire across half the map with 100% accuracy is kinda brutal.
Also, Paratroopers in the opening minute of the game?
Like I don't think it needs a massive overhaul but a few tweaks would help.
Anyone feel all factions could do with a flat rate 20% nerf to manpower income? Feels like it’s just a bit too high?
I played for 4 hours now and there is definently some bug fixing but im happy with graphics which a lot of other players are complaining about. I am however very annoyed that they moved troop overlook to bottom left. under settings/gameplay there is a "global unit control position" which is default bottom left. I changed it to top right but it didnt help. so did 2 of my friends with no result. Is this not suppose to change this?
Currently you have to change the setting every time when entering a match for it to work. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
they moved it there so u have all the important stuff at one place, right besides minimap where you look the most. i think is more of a "getting used to it" stuff than bad change

@Helping Hans, you could get flame pz3 for points, it costs 10 fuel less than rad car and more effectivly obliterate infantry. For example it can flame to zero much effectivly retreating troops and even kill 1v1 light tank. Try it out.)

why does it feel like we are always flooding with resources in this? Like I'm sitting at 200 fuel and 300 munitions all the time.
Is the resource pacing off in this vs coh2?
I've had the same thought. Seems the call in vehicles mostly use MP only, don't love that feature.
I thought I was the only one noticing this because almost none of the reviews mention it.
In CoH2 it was a big decision to give a unit a unit specific upgrade vs building a mine, upgrading a structure, or calling in support. But now I feel I can do all of those things constantly.
How did you build the next building without going to base with cam?
With double clicking, game build the next building to fixed position.

I played quite a bit of coh2 spearhead with friends and honestly I like it, it needs a little love but I think it has potential to eclipse coh2 for sure
I enjoy it. I’ve been playing coh2 for years and alot of the mechanics are similar with great QoL changes. ( like auto reinforce). Needs polish though.
Think of it like this, 2 was worse than 1. Repeat the cycle.

DAK is supposed to be the mobile faction but ood luck doing that vs the greyhound.
The obvious thing is to play between his VP and the north VP but i dont think DAK has the tools to do that and beat the double grehound
Does DAK not have mortar support?
They can get mortar halftracks after an upgrade gate and munitions investment. They also have small field guns it they upgrade their T2 building.

No disrespect as Hans is a great player, but i want to know how big Hans`s Montior is? His head is all over the place and most RTS players use a monitor (within eye twitch level) to keep moving your head like must hurt after a while? :) love the content and you play like a boss
just got the game i really like it and with further updates and patches will be years of fun :)

is everyone chosing to play on lowest textures? I'm not much of a graphics-carer but holy shit i swear i was playing games with more detailed textures 20 years ago now. It's like they've put everything through a blur filter on purpose

Playing DAK and not going Italian Infantry to get Bunkers and Guastatori is playing with hands tied behind your back, their double flamers make EVERYTHING run in fear of them they are super terminator engineers

its a strange thing. During the stress test I enjoyed playing the game, when I was watching others play it though it felt very empty like nothing of importance is happening. I dont know if others feel the same way cause this may hurt streamers.
Sounds wise they went realistic instead of over the top Hollywood unlike 2. Everything in general is less exaggerated, which is kindof a shame.

@@silentascari2180 Oh man yeah the campaign whilst janky is a blast and I have only played vs AI and that was great too. Was worried that Relic might drop the ball but instead they just fumbled it and there are no real problems that can't be fixed :)

Here's what I think, map textures and objects look blurry (Base buildings too), sound not so good, some effects and animations need some work. I like the way the units look, UI is not that bad tbh. Delayed damage reflection on health bars kills me everytime. I like it, looks fixable as well.

The soldiers voicelines are so annoying. I hear nothing but the sound of them screaming. Every other sound like vehicles, engines,artillery, gunshots, machineguns are barely noticable, but the soldiers scream 24/7. They REALLY need to tone it down somehow in the upcoming patches.
DAK just got nerfed pretty hard
While it does feel a little bit cartoonish everything looks so smooth! This is good foundation for any future contents or dlc. The UI is too big tho.

Oh, man I would pay 100$ for Dawn of war + expansions remastered... At least I can play an original game on every PC, that can be connect to internet.
I get why people in chat complain about the sounds in CoH3 (or lack thereof). When I put on my headphones while watching or playing CoH2 it was like a damn warzone on my eardrums. This game however is just weak. No soundscape at all.

As far as I know when CoH2 came out it was quite the mess as well and eventually was made int a really good game. I'm sure they'll work on it as time goes, just like they did with CoH2.
ikr it looks like they removed some cover mechanics and dumbed it down to the level of a phone game. It must be because they were stupid enough to make it for consoles.
@@marshmellu9464 Exactly, coh2 was so much worse than coh3 at launch, now i am not saying coh3 is perfect, no where near yet. But we will eventually probably get to the point where it surpasses both of its predecessors. They nailed most of the core gameplay right, they nailed the graphics finally and the optimization is great, from this point they can work upwards.
@@m00tes I really enjoy how the game looks. I can't say much for the gameplay itself. It looks like there is some things missing but a lot of it seems to be blown out of proportion. CoH2 was an absolutely worse launch than this and now everyone loves it. I am thinking the same will happen here once Relic figures out what is going wrong and how they can fix those things.

Coh3 looks like a standalone expansion pack. Seems like a crime calling it Coh3 :S considering Coh2 was released 10 years ago.
The game feels so shit right now, it looks weird, the sound does not really hit, it all feels like the devs just released something to say "we released something, be happy you fools!"
