It was about 2 1/2 years ago or so, I was sitting in a Sizzle pie in Portland eating a slice of pizza and I heard a band playing in the background that I thought by the off chance may be Superheaven. I went up to ask the person working who it was, and that’s the day that I discovered Narrow head. What a band.

You are not exaggerating. I’m being serious I heard this band for the first time today and immediately became obsessed. I mean they are my new favorite band. I have to see these guys live, especially the fact that they’re rising in popularity. They are one of the bands still keeping genuine rock music good bro.

Being a proud gen xer of course I love this new(ish) band! All comparisons are apt- anyone remember the triple guitar attack of the band Dig? Shocked no one mentioned them-amazing band- along with Hum, Failure, Helmet, etc. Still have my Helmet/ Ministry tour poster as well as my Fantastic Planet t shirt I wear sparingly. This band as well as Hum’s new album has been a gift to us for an otherwise horrid year and a half!! These guys deserve so much more airplay and respect in the industry. But whatever-we all know how good these guys are- these guys and Nothing give me hope for the future of rock. Please keep going fellas!!!
Hey, if you haven't heard of them already, check out a band called Downward (named after Downward is Heavenward lol). Another group of youngsters making awesome stuff exactly along the lines of amazing 90's space grunge. Sincerely, an elderly millenial.
