Much faster to tie them by hand. Easier too.
That second one was terrible. With all the work you were doing, you might as well just tie them by hand.

The Russian one was the best knot that first one that has like a glue is just way to much profile above the hook! It maybe strong but you want your knot to be strong and low profile

I fish so much that these gadgets are actually so much slower than just tying them myself lol. But these are super neat didn’t even know these existed :D
I liked the Russian fishing gadget the best. I could follow along and understand how to do it. I also liked the last fishing gadget, very user friendly.

the second one sucked imo! Just do a palomar knot and you're safe. It's quicker than the second gadget and the knot is probably alot better too :D

Palomar knot is for those who are amateurs. A true sailor knows how to tie knots in the heavest of squalls. And underwater too.
Just tie a snell knot. That is so much simpler and doing the same thing as all of these gadgets.
Ikr, just twist the hook a few times, then put the line through the loop just above the hook, then back through the loop you created, and boom!

nice gadgets the automatic fishing line tier was my favorite but the little green hook holder is pretty cool
The last one. Very small. can fit in your pocket while fishing and also on your pole on the way home and storage. Wasn't complicated to learn. Will even fit in the tackle box taking up small space.
I use a carburetor linkage tool to do what the last item does. They're long and you can spin them quick for rotating the wraps on the knot.

It takes like 30 seconds to tie a Palomar knot and its one of the strongest,most simple fishing knots.

The hook Snelling pen might be handy tying 20+ snells if you get used to it, thanks I'll try one.
Snelling 60lb mono for hours gets gnarly on the hands, if that pen gajick helps I'm in.

When you make one of those knots you have to pull on both sides of the string and the hook, you weren't actually making them tight

The Hook Eze looks like the one that is simple and quick enough without taking a bunch of fidgeting to get the knot in it. Most people who fish already know how to tie the knots and just want a quicker way to do it. The one called Hook Eze looks like it could be replicated using an old dental floss container too. Interesting.
