I'm excited to share my very first Christmas in July video EVER on this channel! I will be sharing both my 2022 and 2023 Christmas Home Tours with you today. It’s crazy how different it looks from year to year…even without buying a whole lot of new stuff. It’s always fun to find new ways to display the pieces I have. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch!!
Everything was beautiful, I would love to see a DIY on how the brown stars are made I love them, they remind me of times where we all sat around and made ornaments for the tree or decorations for the home, stringing popcorn and cranberries for the tree, taking lids of cans and punching a hole into them and painting them and adding pretty ribbon. I love when people use there town villages to decorate they make it feel so warm and cozy with all the lights on.
I am so so sorry that I’m just now seeing this!!! Here is a link to the video where I made the star. I did my best to go step by step through the process of making the paper stars. Thank you so much for watching…and I truly apology for taking so long to respond!

Beautiful.... I could see a round small white ironstone bowl in the middle of the 4 swan candle holder.. filled with small pine cones or maybe greens and small white ornaments.
Ohhh that would be amazing!! I’m always on the lookout for ironstone…but for some reason it has eluded me thus far. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch!

That was fun. I’m sure I must have watched your 2023 Christmas home tour, but I was so surprised when I saw your Gingerbread House inspired by Rosehill Cottage! That was fantastic! That should win a prize ! Had a fun time as always.
I truly couldn’t believe I pulled that gingerbread house off!! Believe it or not, it’s the first one I’d ever made. I’m absolutely terrible at the gingerbread house kits…so how my homemade one succeeded I’ll never know! Already planning what to do this upcoming Christmas!
Beautiful! I am new and hadn't gotten to see your prior Holiday videos. Everything so gorgeous; looked like each room was from a Christmas Magazine. Two of my favorite things were the Christmas family scene around the tree piece of art over the mantle, and your Grandmothers Nativity . I am really looking forward to seeing 2024 Christmas already.

Your white nativity set is lovely! I also liked the coziness of the dark walls on your room. Living in it might be different that a quick video tour, but it was pretty nonetheless. ☺️
Honestly, I liked the darker walls….and if there was more natural light I probably would have left it. I do want to bring color into the room. I just need to love with a neutral palette in there for a bit, to figure out what comes next. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch!
Great! I did see the 2023 tour. I was just starting to find different channels & was binging the Christmas tours, not really subscribing tho. I re-found you about 5mths ago & been here since then. So of course i watched so many i don't remember, so it'll be new for me anyway! Oh the Nativity is beautiful, such wonderful memories! Now your children & grandchildren, etc. will have them too! Heirloom piece for sure😊 And that precious photo of you at the piano🥰 I would honestly love to have that hanging in my home, i just love it so much!❤The year 2022 was very bright but cozy and absolutely beautiful! I loved every inch of your home and how you had it decorated! And 2023 for starters that porch is so pretty!! And as soon as you step in the house wow! It truly is stunning! You definitely have an eye for decorating for Christmas! And I'll do the same I'll use the things that are always there and just add to them and make them festive!😊 I love using the pieces I already have. I'm just not one to run to the big box stores and buy what everybody else has their homes decorated in, not that it's not pretty.. I would just rather use my beautiful old pieces that I've worked year after year to collect. The pieces that I love to walk in my home and see, the pieces that make me happy😊 Just prettied all up for Christmas! What a neat idea to do a Christmas in July of earlier videos. Saw one that had made a gingerbread house of Beatrice Potter's house...forgot the name of the property. I usually have a lighthouse. Your home is lovely and has so many stories about the pieces. Enjoyed the music too.

Ohhh that gingerbread house sounds amazing!! The one in my video, was the first one I’ve ever made. It was inspired by Rosehill Cottage in the movie The Holiday. I’m already trying to figure out what to make this year! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment!

Carin what do you make for Christmas Dinner? Do you have company over during the Holidays?
We usually spend Christmas Eve with family and then Christmas Day is just our little family. ❤️ I always make homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast and we snack throughout the day. The last couple of years I’ve made Italian food for Christmas dinner.
