Trying to rationalize irrational behavior will do that to you. 9 1/2 years in the courts later I finally pulled the kids out of the ghetto she had them living in.

I experienced a ruff childhood similar to hers, my Dad was a very good father to his kids but was an abusive husband. My mother left when I was 4 and never heard from her again until I was 9. My father raised me, not my mother and also she didn’t say goodbye to us when she left( confirmed by my siblings), she was just gone. I stuck with a woman for 9 years that, looking back, should not have lasted more than 1, because I did not want to abandon my children to nut-case. I knew the court would give her the kids (things have changed a small bit since then). I put up with a LOT of "schtuff" doing it. In the end, she didn't have to try too hard to convince people I was a bit flaky. I was. Trying to rationalize irrational behavior will do that to you. 9 1/2 years in the courts later I finally pulled the kids out of the ghetto she had them living in.
