- The train station at Millis, MA was built in 1882 and was last used in 1967 by the New Haven Railroad. The tracks running past the depot were last used over a decade ago by the Bay Colony Railroad. The line is still "active" and not abandoned despite it's condition.

Let's all hope this beautiful and unique building, which seems to be in very good shape overall, is once again used for its original purpose.
It's a shame that they places no longer used! Nice video!
That would make a great diner or restaurant.
And people say we need more public transportation.
I could be wrong but I believe this was last serviced by bud liners for passenger service. I know that's what ran thru Dover into Needham unit 1967 and that is this same line.
The dover needham line was still in use till 06-07
MBTA should restore, long-gone service to Milis and Medway, from Needham Junction. Gone since 1967!
Thanks for watching!
Looks like a great place to live for a family.
Imagine the boys that boarded the train there, heading off to fight in wars, and never returned.
Try the game "Train Sim Pro". Beautiful graphics and accurate physics. Where else you gonna run a GP38?
That place could use a SOFT WASH for sure!
The building looks to be in restoreable shape! I recall your video a while back; are they looking to rehab the line through there?
The railroad had brush cut this section of line a couple years back but so far no new business has developed on this end. There is a warehouse at the end of track that seems to be getting some work done on it so there is potential but who knows.
Thats near where I live. Its now used as a preschool. Does Bay Colony own it?
BCLR does not own it. I believe the town now does.
Looks cleaner than when I filmed it last year. Almost like someone did some vegetation work.
Here is a link to that video czcams.com/video/PBTkj3LaQy4/video.html
Good video. Keep it up. Remember to listen for those Rhythms of the Railroad!
The visuals are fine, but some historical narrative would be a little better.
June 8th, and a snowbank there??
