Unfortunatly, music business and quality don't nescessary mix (or Simon Cowell wouldn't be so rich). I just hope they are happy. 99% of us, musicians, won't be rich and famous, its a fact. But if you live from your music without a second job, it's already a blessing. Unfortunately, with £100 for 100000 play/stream, it's becoming impossible for new artists to make a living. And with concert and tour dead because of Covid and Brexit, it's really worrying for the next generation...
