    Oh those sodas are Japanese sodas, and I am laughing thinking of the beautiful scenery with you guys crunching Fritos in it, and then your kid asking "That was lunch?" 😆

      Thanks! Lessons learned - don’t buy $16.99 trekking poles, they are NOT worth it! Useless within minutes.

      @@Madmotion Ooof... and then you get to carry them the rest of the way. No fun!
      I still don't own or use trekking poles.

    Why didn't you make it the entire distance? Not enough daylight?
    I have two sons as well. What a treat for you do this activity with them. Thanks for sharing.

      My son wasn’t feeling well and we were going a lot slower than we expected, we decided to play it safe and not try to push through difficult terrain at nightfall.
