I hope for Tesla to win in the long game. I'm concerned about some of Elon's misgivings, mainly his disrespect to the human cyborgs he trains and discards without feelings. He has consistently over promised and under delivered. So many had hopes that his original investors would have seen what was promised.
Fairly new subscriber. Have not heard any comments about the new M3 orders. Delivery dates seem to be all over the place and keep changing. In particular for AWD and white interior. 4 months since order and latest date is mid-late June. Any thoughts?
Are you in the US? White interior deliveries just started a week or two ago. I’ve also seen dates moving all over the place for some configurations. Not sure what’s going on.

Cyber truck updates are for a smaller audience unless the updates impact the core of the vehicle, things that will be shared once a cargo or passenger van, or large SUV is built on the same frame.
Slightly upset that I got the standard range on Apr 23rd and would have only paid 2k more for the LR RWD but i love my music so not sure if i care that much with the speakers missing
I’m pretty sure the RWD Model 3 and Y both have a lower top DC charge rate from their AWD variants. Specifically 170 kW vs. 250 kW. Nobody talks about this difference and it could be a concern for someone looking to road trip a lot.
I just got updated to 2024.14.6 and my complementary 1 month free FSD invitation email on 05/12/2024 @ 2:03pm so maybe the FSD free program has not ended? 🤔
I have been an FSD subscriber for about a year and was on the correct branch (2024.3.x) to get my subscription free for the month of April and now my monthly price on May 1 is $99 +tax. Hopefully, Tesla will upgrade us all to 2024.14.5 soon. Sorry to those of you who didn't get a free month. I expect Tesla will do this again after a few more bugs are fixed. All of my Tesla owner friends who tried the free month in April were more scared by the few mistakes they encountered than impressed by the many great decisions FSD made. The new Model Y isn't new at all. It's actually the same hardware as the RWD SR model with the software battery lock unlocked. The $2K price increase over the SR model is the exact price for unlocking the extra battery capacity behind the pay wall.
I think CT features like steer-by-wire, 48V, Ethernet replacing CAN, front camera, blind spot indicators and rear wheel steering are features that are hopefully coming to new models like the Y Performance.
It might help to view the cyber truck as a framework that other vehicles will also be built on. That might include a “normal” looking truck, or a cargo van or a small passenger bus.
Thank you for recognizing that not all of us didn’t receive the free 30 day supervised FSD, and are stuck on 2024.8.

Yes in US, mid Atlantic region. They have been offering alternatives but nothing similar, not even any AWD options in the area.

that fridge idea is cool but then.. all the heat being produced is just going to sit in that well heating up that section may not be a perfect idea.
I have one. It includes a vented replacement door for the sub trunk to keep it cool.
