Thomas is a former New Writers Award. Now in its fifteenth year of supporting burgeoning writers in Scotland to achieve success, our New Writers Awards are funded by Creative Scotland.
The awards have been nurturing Scottish talent since 2009, and it has made an enormous impact on the publishing industry, with the 189 awardees so far having produced 186 published works, as well as four titles in the Next Chapter Award, which specially supports an emerging writer over 40.
