    The news is incorrect about who pays for the import duties against China .. It's American businesses who are importing the products that are paying the tariffs .. China is not paying anything .. I own a business who imports some things from china as they are the only people who can make what I need here in the states. I'm the one who's paying the tariffs as these materials are being brought into the
    ports ... Not the country of origin ...

    A tariff is a tax on the US buyer. China does not pay for this tariff. The US importer does and it gets passed on to the buyer in the US.

    Tariffs are paid by the countries that import the goods. Imposing tariffs will only fuel inflation that is happening in America. China only export 0.5% of its EVs to America.
