She just gets better and better and better. And of course now we're in 2021. We're all getting older. We're all getting wiser. In theory. All good. And after good souls better Angels with a kick ass music and lyrics well that was it. One more time...

She's one of few gold standards against which any songwriter can be compared - it's really great to hear these - imagine being a record exec hearing these for the first time! She's been so prolific that, like other writers that produce so much, not everything can hit the highest standards BUT this seems to be the way to write songs that are going to last a lifetime and beyond - I'm still singing and playing songs of hers that I sang at open mics over 20 years ago they are of such timeless quality - good for any age or generation that wants to open their hearts and be moved. I find it sad hearing her later work and her live performances - she sounds so ruined - weathered and worn down I can deal with but sometimes it's too hard to watch and listen to.

She was MUCH better here as a folk singer.
The country twang her producers pushed on her sucks.

Perhaps you have a point but I doubt that anybody tells Lucinda what to do.

@@vicattardo8258 She's more graceful as a folk singer. The country is well, cookie cutter country.
LOVED her in the 80s n the college stations.
