William Reunites with his Father | Heath Ledger | A Knight's Tale
Years ago this hit me as a son. Now it hits me as a father.
bravo
I don't know you, but I love you man
I agree
Best comment in years!
I'm not a man and don't have children, but it brings tears to my eyes...😢
For a comedy movie this scene really hits like a brick. The amount of emotion in the eyes of the father… so beautifully acted. RIP to both Heath and Christopher
His dad didn't have much screentime but by god did he act his heart out in what time he had.
Oscar worthy
Christopher Cazenovas real son died 1999 in a car accident, just before this movie was filmed.
Keep that in mind, when watching this scene.
Much love to all the fathers out there, who lost a child!
A son has no idea how much a father loves them until they have a son of their own. This scene kicks my ass every time.
The dad deserves an Oscar for that scene alone ! Felt so real
A beautifully written, directed and acted scene. No hint of cheesiness - just pure emotion.
Damn can't stop crying to this scene. It is just so great. Both just great actors.
A man can change his stars...
I cannot make it through this scene without losing it. Good lord, the beats, the writing, and acting are brilliant.
To, Heath Ledger, Thank you for sharing, when you were here.
How many times have I watched this? MANY. How often does it make me cry? EVERY TIME
Heath.... thank you for your acting. This is very moving and touching to me. REST IN PEACE, MY BROTHER!
Heath! What a GREAT ROLE you had in this film!!!! We miss you soooo much!!!!! RIP. When I knew about your death, this came to me as a nightmare!
thks for the thumbs up!!!
Doesn't matter how many times I watch this movie, this scene moves this 6'2" 225lb military veteran to tears.
You're not a 6.2 military vet, gtfo.
Reminds Me of My Son&I.I Cry each Time I See it!!I'm Quite Disabled, used to Be 6'&235-45lbs.He's 6'8"+&255lbs+.A Fathers Pride!
I'm not crying, YOU'RE CRYING!
shhh. we're both crying
For a Father’s love, all Men Cry.
R.I.P Mr Heath Ledger 1979-2008.
Heath ledger ... a angel among the angels ...
I cry at this scene every.single.time.
This will forever be Heath Ledger best move.
The dark Knight is a contender
I don't think so, he did Joker so well. But this movie is one of my favorites, one of his most memorable.
The little girl is probably the biggest gossip in the whole Cheapside 😂
How in the hell do you expect a 9 year old to keep a secret like that?
"Sometimes we always see him sitting at the window but nobody knows why".He is waiting for his son to find his feet back home🙏
In my opinion, this is one of the best parts of the movie :)
I wish i could see my dad one last time
I loved every movie he was ever in he played his heart out
Miss you Mr. ledger very much
Cry every time I see this scene
Hollywood is famous for their historical inaccuracies (to remain polite), but that movie really took it to a whole new level
I had tears. All the time.
I’m not moved to tears that much in movies but this scene it nearly gets me every time 🥺
Never fails to bring tears to my eyes
Who’s chopping onions 🧅 here 😭😭😭😭😭😭
one of the most extraordinary scenes I have seen in a lifetime!!!
thanks for the thumbs up!
My favorite Heath Ledger movie.
I watch this full movie at least a couple times a year. Simply brilliant.
Most touching.
RIP Heath Ledger. I pray when it's my time, I will meet you in Heaven. 🙏
This is one of my favourite movies, I have watched it at least 20 times and I have cried every single time when this scenes comes around. Magnificently acted
This truly is one of if not the best movie of all time.
I love this scene. This makes me cry so much.
He didn’t change his stars by taking on the name Ulrich. He changed them when he respected a princes determination.
that squint he does at 0:48 is very joker-like
With Hollywood as crap as it is, how the hell did a movie this good ever get made?
Because it wasn’t made in Hollywood.
hermosa escena.
Happy Farther's Day here in the UK.
I love my dad.
This reminds me of when I eventually meet my dad again in the afterlife and heaven.
amen to u sir.may he rest in peace and happiness wen u join him😢.
Neither exist.
Well, they won't exist for you. Good luck on being fertilizer, bud.@@aarons6935
To my Son Ethan I miss you so much.
Long time ago, i have seen this
damn those ninjas cutting onions!
4:20 me nearly everyday when I see my son
Splinter from a lance must've gotten in my eye
I still don’t understand how Count Adamar deduced who he was from this. So what if a Knight visited an old man?
You could deduce from what the little girl said that none of the neighbors knew of William and that he could have possibly been the reason why he waited by the window sometimes.
In olden times like this, it’s was considered uncommon or undignified for men of noble blood to mingle with peasants. Count Adamar used this as a means to deduce that William was not what he seemed.
There was a deleted scene where Adamar gets a visit from someone from Gelderland who tells him there’s no one there by the name of Ulrich von Liechtenstein
@@sonofmoss see, that’s believable. They should have kept that bit in. Oh well
This was my favorite scene.
2nd was when the Black ass was dehorsed.
A So Tragic Period!
So Dark!
So much Suffering!
Yeah made me cry like a b...
Some one in here know about were is the location of this city, when he arrive to see his dad? Thanks
ninjas cutting onions
I thought it was his sister at first
Parker hhhh
Great movie in my opinion loved them 90s movies no political garbage or race issues just entertainment
Very underrated movie. Just fun and funny like you said. No nonsense.
Yeah... a movie about how unfair and ridiculous the idea of nobility is, and how the family you are born into and your wealth should not be the sole determinants of your lot in life, doesn't have any political message.
There's no trans recognition in this. It's a phobic movie that only promotes supremacy and subjectnation of the minority
This film brothe is from 2007.
@@tommccarthy7644 The OP obviously referred to Current Year politics infesting the movie scene, not antiquated feudal society norms. Give your head a shake.
