Very good video on replacing the belt and adjusting the rod. I’ve got a feeling I’ll be doing that soon on my McLane.

Great video (Excellent), very clear instructions and I appreciate the adjustment on the bar that activates the pulley, I definitely need to make an adjustment

Replace the fuel filter attached to the peck cock that lives in the fuel tank. I’m pretty sure that model has one. Look in the tank and see.

Thanks for the tip. I did replace the gas tank on this mower so everything in the gas tank is new but will take a look either way. Appreciate the suggestion !!!! 👍🏻

First off thank you for getting me into reel mowing and convincing me to buy a mclane. I love it. Quick question I am having a problem with my belt slipping off the back pulley. Should I just replace the belt or should I try to adjust it? If so how do I make it tighter? Thanx!

There is a couple of things i would check. If it’s falling off is the springs holds the clutch pulley in place. If it’s damaged or loose this can cause the issue. I would also see if there is any adjustment with the belt cover. The belt cover should help keep the belt in place when not being depress but shouldn’t be the main factor to why it’s falling off. I did demonstrate in video how to adjust the clutch arm to increase of decrease the tension. If you have additional questions you can email me or comment in response.
