I would never have thought that doing an acoustic cover of freakin STINKFIST would turn out to be so powerful. Thanks for doing this in such a pure way, no fancy reverb, no harmonies, no auto tune, just talent and skill.
Plus, in some way, hearing a lady singing it makes me think more about the actual meaning of this song:)
It’s a great cover. But it’d be more pure if this was being sung live in this video. This is her visually performing to a studio version of the song that she recorded separately though. The vocals are close mic’d in the audio and in this video she’s lip syncing to herself, to her own already recorded vocals.
It’s still the best solo cover of the song I’ve heard and she could definitely nail if live but this video itself isn’t live.
