As a Democrat I respected Senator McCain so much. 1st he was a cobat veteran who paid the ultimate price for this country. Second he was a decent man. Stood for what was right. I think President Obama's eulogy for the late Senator to be one of the greatest in history. Ultimate respect for this man.

I am from Jamaica, but most of my family are Americans. I loved John McCain and respected him very much. I was 1/2 sold on Trump until the day he made that disparaging comment about POWs and McCain. It was then I knew something was wrong with tRump and that he should never be a president! I pray he NEVER sees the Oval office again!

I am a lifelong democrat but had a lot of respect for John McCain my father served 27 years in the Navy and served in Vietnam who died 4 years ago so I get the feeling of the loss of your father. I don't always agree with Meghan but I do remember the day that Biden was on the View with her and how he put his arm around her as she cried about her Dad. This Meghan I am fully behind how dare Lake think that she can reach out to Meghan the way she has talked about her father telling McCain republicans to get the hell out you can't erase the tape and claim it was a joke.

I’m a Democrat and don’t subscribe to John McCain’s political views but I believe that heroes of McCain’s caliber are very rare and we are privileged to have had him in this time.
The Vietnam war was an unnecessary tragedy which in no way detracts for the esteem I hold for a great military man. We can all learn about honor and commitment from the Senator’s biography.

I'm often flabbergasted over the way many of my fellow Republicans (largely on the far Right) insist on labeling rational, level headed Republicans as "RINO's" ("Republican In Name only"). I don't care what political side you're on, if you are running for office and you aren't capable of rational discernment with a willingness to be democratically congruent in reasonable compromise - you are a cancer to the democracy of our nations republic. You are absolutely no better than those on the far left. Senator McCain as a politician, knew this he was a staunch patriot who had the capability of uniting political parties to the point where Republicans, Independents and even DEMOCRATS revered him, and had an immense amount of respect and appreciation for him. He was an invaluable asset to the betterment of our country, and I will forever be proud to be a McCain Republican.

I used to live in phx over 25 and I am a long time Limousine driver and I always meet Senator McCain at the Sky harbor airport when he come home he always has his driver at third floor parking lot, till this day sometimes I miss to see him , I got to see him before he pass at Starbucks on Central Park Phoenix AZ, Ultimate respect for you Sr Senator John McCain.
