Sir my case is also same like same diploma in Kpu Surrey but I didn't get May intake when I had to take deferment.. Actually I took deferment for September intake and after 10 days .. I got my ppr. I was confused whether to be happy or sad. I know I have to wait and I am waiting as well but I have a query -- Like on my passport my visa validity is 13 Feb 2022 to 30 April 2024 but my course will end on September 2024 as my intake is September so I will start my classes from September 5 ,so how will I manage this duration fault. If you have the registered email, jo GC key me Dali thi, then you will get the email that your file status has been updated, but only your agent can confirm if it’s a PPR

I think it's better to do it in April. Because even after you get your prr. You will need 15 days for Visa Stamping. It can be risky to lodge your file in May because no one know what will be the situation after that and will the processing become faster or not

According to IRCC, if your Defferment period is above 150 days, then you have to raise a webform and inform them about it and also have to attach the LOA to it. Otherwise, there is no need of doing anything

You can appy for Study Permit extention in canada, no need to worry about that
