Definitely a thought provoking scenario. I’ve witnessed people turn on each other for a whole lot less than starvation.

I play deception. Quietly cache a large amount of my food and supplies, inventory happens, we’re low but not desperate, play by ear and look for opportunities to pick off hostiles (making that decision unilaterally does make them enemies) without drawing suspicion

Not going to fight my way out of it, if it just me my wife, 2 kids and widow. Ideally I'd like an ally with the same mentality. Before this all started.
