What a hidden gem! Hindemith's symphonic music should be programmed much more frequently than it is, and not just the Symphonic Metamorphoses or Mathis der Maler. I'm also quite fond of the Symphony in E Flat, the Symphonia Serena, and Der Schwanendreher, but it seems almost impossible to visit all of his music in just one lifetime. I'm glad to have listened to this one, though. Thank you!
