@Leo Mulgrew Threw some decent kicks vs Dustin and floored Cerrone with a high kick too. The stance is different though meaning Conor isn’t as fluid with his movements like he used to be. But the main thing is he doesn’t have the same fire to succeed because he’s gotten comfortable
@Leo Mulgrew I never said he doesn’t have fire I said it’s not the same fire. There are subtle things to hint that McGregor lacks the same drive as before. Like how he said it’s okay that he lost to Dustin whereas after he lost to Nate he said nothing of the sort, he was obsessed with the rematch. Or the fact that Conor has admitted to being distracted before the Khabib fight, proving he’s susceptible to outside influence. Even in the walkout you can compare pre-Floyd Conor to post-Floyd Conor. To me he just doesn’t seem to have that same wild confidence in his eyes anymore. We all know money was a big motivating factor for Conor coming up, but now he has more than enough and has been living luxuriously since the mega Floyd pay. Humans are weak too much comfort can kill our desire to want to grow through hardships. I may be wrong we’ll see in the coming months whether Conor still has that same obsessive hunger to obliterate everyone.
Yep. And it's not just if you started watching HIM. If you started to watch MMA after 2015, it was mostly consequence of Conor's work in this sport. If he'd been doing box from the start, there would be box in the place of today's MMA.
