I like how Godzilla 90's and '54 turn into burning Godzilla, instead of just hitting normal critical mass.

"Critical Mass" is just a power-up that strengthens your physical moves & alters your appearance. It makes Godzilla look very similarly like he did in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, but it's not the same as Burning Godzilla. Hence why he didn't get an atomic ray color change!

Nope; that was something they addressed in an interview, they could never find a way to fix it.
You look at Biollante and ask "how the hell am I going to fight something 5 times bigger than me?" godzilla would answer "By using my tail and fists >:Y I'm the king bitch!"
PS2 GU exclusives include Battra and Showa Gigan. While named Rodan on PS2, it's the same character as on the Wii (Fire Rodan). GU Wii has plenty more exclusives compared to GU PS2.

Why is Burning Godzilla 90’s beam blue instead of red?
Would've loved if his beam changed color too, but Critical Mass only changes the monster's physical appearance with some stat boosts. No other fancy effects added to things like beams.

+missvideogamegirl To counter a grab, you must perform a grab yourself! There's a brief window right when you're grappled to counter (shake Wiimote + nunchuck), it should toss your opponent aside if you do it successfully.

Oh by the way Godzilla 1990's, Obsidius, and Fire Rodan are all included in the PS2 version
The DS version has plenty of exclusives: Manda, Ebirah, The Sphinx, and Hedorah but none are playable
I feel like you made a goof by using the 1990’s Godzilla with Anguirus I thought you would use the 54 Godzilla with Anguirus and use the 90’s Godzilla with Biollante

Godzilla unleashed on the wii is cooler, than the ps2 verison because it did'nt have critical mass, same graphic, or 4 new character. p.s I love that shit.
Wii is definitely the superior more polished game. The PS2 version was clearly a neutered version. I mean Godzilla Save the Earth and Destroy All Monsters Melee were older games and still were more refined.

I personally wished they had both. Have Critical mass from destroying crystals, but have the special power-up to give Rage attacks.

Critical Mass has always been obtainable for the Wii version! You just need to destroy enough crystals to trigger the transformation, preferably those large teal crystals located randomly around each level.

Destroy lots of crystals and the bar next to your health will turn red. Get it all the way up and you turn into critical mass
