No, it isn't. Being pretty is literally part of their job and they knew that even if they signed up as 13 year olds or whatever.
I can see why her parents didn’t want her youngest sister to follow in her and Chaeryeong’s footsteps and become an idol - the pursuit of fame extracts a heavy price.
Chaeyeon doesn't even look like herself anymore and it hurts. I know she does some changes during her izone days but she should stop at that time, she's the prettiest in hush rush era, but she did a major change in knock era and i can't help but feel like she's completely different person. It just doesn't feel the same anymore when they look so different.
The procedures definitely helped her fit the industry standards more, but I can’t help but think she looks a lot ‘older’ than before. Chaeryeong looks better after her surgeries I would say, but whatever. If she is a successful solo artist then it’ll be worth it for her but I can’t help but think she’ll need “maintenance” for her remaining idol years.
Yeah, it’s really sad. If I didn’t know her age, I’d guess she’s 32. She looks so different :(
That will sound weird but I wonder if the results between both are so distinct because as a soloist she needs more to grab the attention. Also I doubt JYPE let their talents work with clinics not pre approved by them and that obviously plays a part.

@@keepitsecret-dl1pr They received a lot of hate too over the smallest things by bitter ppl, it's just the sisters got it even worse cause they're not the "standard", probably fueled by jealous and bitter ppl that not conventionally attractive women were thriving in the entertainment industry, they're genuinely so beautiful and cute and had a unique visual, if it's impossible to not debut minors, they should at least be banned from social media and have comments restricted on any video they appear in like how youtube kids have no comments.

Its fine everyone in the industry has had or will have some kind of plastic surgery invasive or non invasive...its very common in SK especially when you r gonna be infront of people as a public figure so idk why some people be shaming idols when it doesn't harm others in any way 🤷🏻♂️
i think the way she looked during her izone era was great im a little sad that she felt like she had to take it even further. i feel like whatever she did before her solo debut took a lot of the charm out of her face to me
I hate to be one of those people .. but I think if she would have just let herself grow up into her adult face everything would have worked out .. I’m noticing that the distance between the lips and nose plays a big role in attractiveness too

i do feel bad that she felt she needed to revamp herself, whoever’s choice it was.. but her new look is off-putting. the filler doesn’t look good on her lips, nor the blonde hair, or facial fillers. i hope she’s able to see herself. wonyoung seems to have laid off on the facial fillers recently which is making her face look so much better again

Yes fillers are muscle relaxants. So if you put a small amount of filler directly to that a certain muscle. It will make it look smaller. Since the muscle is "relaxing" then.

@@buddies6389 yeah, that person is wrong about fillers - they're meant to address a volume loss (and also are fairly prevalent in kpop hence a lot of severely underweight idols maintain plump cheeks, kinda insane that someone this young opts for it). while botox's (or botulinum toxin bc botox is a brand, there are quite a few other brands) use addresses muscle movements and injections into masseter muscles (they're located towards the back of the jaw) help to achieve a slimmer look bc they shrink in size after injections.
she looked so pretty from the start! both her and chaeryeong look beautiful already and it’s sad how the industry destroyed them from the inside out 😢
Literally both her and Chaeryeong were brutally critiqued to the ground for their natural features. I remember when their mom openly made a post begging people to stop saying mean things online about Chaeryeong when she first debuted. They were so naturally gorgeous. People can be so cruel. And y’all in the comments still continuing to critique her face are gross.
She needs to stop with the surgery now. The thing is these idols do improve their beauty to fit in with beauty standards with the initial procedures, but at some point, it starts to become too much and they look botched. But they say once you start getting plastic surgery, it's really hard to stop.
I find these videos so interesting and slightly sad in many ways. Could you do miyawaki sakura next? The differences between then (2012-2016) and now (2018-2023) are *extremely* noticeable
honestly rlly sad... she had a very distinct, unique look to her before, and i'm sure she would've looked beautiful anyway if she had let herself grow into her face. now i can't help but think she looks like jamie and siyeon from dreamcatcher.

This one for me is def one of the sadder cases :( nowadays she doesn’t look like herself anymore. I always loved chaeryoung’s & chaeyeon’s original unique features, especially their noses. Especially since chaer is in itzy & their whole concept is about loving yourself & being a bad bih despite your flaws.
I personally dislike chaeyeon’s new nose… it doesn’t fit her at all nor does it even look natural. Her old nose fit her face so perfectly, it wasn’t kpop standards but it fit HER & she was so unique, it was her charm.. I wish she (and other idols that changed their features) knew this. She’s so unbelievably talented, I wish the industry would let people shine for their talents & stop worrying about looks so much. Keeping looks as the number 1 priority in kpop will only bring the industry down, as more pretty faces debut with 0 talent & forcing actual talented people to get a million different procedures.

2020-2021 Chaeyeon was superior. If you think she looks better now, you're lying to yourself! The new nose and eyes do not match her face shape AT ALL. I used to really like her in IZONE but her solo stuff ain't my cup of tea, and she looks like a completely different person soooo....

I started noticing how oddly round her cheeks got and the nose change during late 2020 for iz*one's ssots promotions. I was taken aback when her eyes got wider too, like I really thought I was the only one who caught that. Not surprised considering how knetz were always talking shit and making fun of her face back in pd48 until debut. As for chaeryeong, there was a lot of weight loss for the most part, but she probably did get work done too since the comments bring it up. Still, will never forgive knetz for how they bullied these girls into believing they were too "ugly" and "fat" to be on stage

It's so sad how people with praise natural beauty and shame people who aren't naturally beautiful as if that's something they had any decision in.
And then if they DO actually do something about it like surgery, they get shame for the surgery and they get even more shame if the surgery is done poorly or if it's noticeable. So the people who were prettier before also get more of a pass on surgery since their surgery is considered "subtle." No shit it's more subtle if you started off pretty, you have less to change. If you were born less pretty, your surgery will be called "too much" because it's more to change. Literally what do people want people to do? Nobody can control if they were born gorgeous!!! It's very sad.

@@bbieviexactly and thats why is important to discuss it. her lip fillers are way to much especially for her age. korea has ways around laws of allowing minors to get procedures, their companies pay them off. kpop brings so much to the korean economy so of course they will find ways around it
omg her first nosejob and eyelid surgery were really nicely done and she should've stopped there :( she looks prettiest in that era, and after her 2nd nosejob the enlarged space between her upper lip and nasal tip, as well as her canthoplasty just made her look uncanny... and shes only become more uncanny-looking with the most recent procedures😭

The online bullying they went through was absolutely disgusting , even their mother had to step in and tell people to stop , it’s incredibly sad , I can’t blame the girls getting surgery after going through all of that non-stop I just wish people supported them from the beginning and not bash them for such vein reasons

She looks worse now. Her facial features were cute and had a youthful look before so it's a pity. I think the worst was buccal fat removal and the nose was way prettier pre debut.

So I know a lot of people say: it doesn‘t matter that they got ps, they are still beautiful, don‘t critique them, it‘s their body ect…..
I don‘t think that is okay. I also don‘t think ps should get normalized (sadly it already has). I loose a lot of respect for an idol when they have done ps (I know it‘s pretty much everyone), it sets a bad example for young fans, and no, they are NOT doing it for themseleves, they are doing it for the public, for money, for fame. I don‘t respect that. I think it‘s disgusting how those people refuse to admit any of the dozens of procedures they had done and in turn ruin the self confidence of young girls and making them compare themeselves to those plastic individuals. I hate it. I know they are not their real role models and it‘s not their job to take care of the mental health of their fans, but they act like they were born this way and that is just not it.

Don't forget about the make up hack and the yoga face. I've experienced it myself. Other people say I had surgery, even though I only wear braces and do facial yoga regularly. And of course make-up. Take a look at some make up hacks. Also whatever she does, as long as it doesn't hurt you, try to appreciate it. And if you don't like it, just avoid it. We are both human.
