So it says the bike is too small but in the video it is right up next to a super73 and they look almost exactly the same size. Is the super73 to small as well or is it just compared to the surron they are both too small

Thanks for this video. Really great information. I also have an X160 and we've been experiencing the limited range. Really not happy about that. Segway advertises 40 miles and we probably get half of that. Have a tech support call in to Segway and they keep promising a "call back", but it hasn't arrived yet. Any advice?

It will in EP mode. Sports mode half that rage. Get a bigger battery try a 60v and a better controller you will get 46.6mph and twice the range. Or go bigger 72V 42AH battery

Does this E-bike require a License to ride it, and can it be driven on the Street, or is it only used as a dirt bike. I looked it up online and I can't find anywhere that it shows how long the bike last on a single charge and how long does it take to charge the battery. Thanks Great Video though.
Depends what state you live in. Check your dmv website for ebike info. This guy is easily legal in most places, especially if you add a pedal kit and keep it below 28mph. Battery takes 3-5 hours to charge.

I would honestly get a gas dirt bike if you want an actual dirt bike. The x260 is more like a mountain bike from what people have said. Pretty sure I'm too late, but a dude can try.

please do all of yourselves a favor and go to luna cycles and buy the actual sur ron. You get an extra 15mph top speed(43-47mph), 2x the torque, double the range, and better front forks.
Sounds good to me- this maybe the one I will get for Spanish trails, as long as I Google earth the distance first.
and the option to add an installed pedal kit if you want to take your chances trying to get it to pass as an ebike when going by a cop

@@Makinja depends on the state you live in, for most it's not considered an ebike since it's over 1hp and 750w and other states have their own definition
i've had no problems so far in NY with cops keeping it in ep mode and pedaling when around them since i have a pedal kit though

We’ve been able to fit it in a compact SUV trunk with seats down and the front wheel still attached. Also a Sur Ron fits in the back of a full SUV with seats down and front wheel still attached

I know the wheels, battery, bars and controller are different between the x160 and x260 but my question is, is the motor the same? If the motor is the same then it is a better deal. I say this because a lot of people buy a sur ron and then change the wheels, fork, rear shock, battery and controller so if you were going to do all these upgrades and the 160 frame and motor being the same it would be cheaper to buy.
The x260 has a bigger motor and has a 15 mph max speed difference and faster 0 to 60

And the downside if they make something newer it's old technology like cell phones in a way. Do you know of any motoped 49cc through 125CC+ gasoline powered with pedals to propel it that way it's a bicycle?

@@brodienelson380 70% sure is not good enough, 100% sure would be better. The X160 seems to be like 5% to 10% smaller, which is a tiny difference. BUT it says that the x160 has a 175-pound weight limit, and I wonder how accurate that is. Could someone 200 or 220 pounds still ride it, but it would just drain the battery faster? The X260 has a 220-pound weight limit.
I have a Sur Ron and it does not have Blue Tooth.

Yes, of course. If you plan on mainly driving on the street though you can change the tires to street tires. You can also buy a complete set of street wheels. Luna Cycles sell it for $350

Is this street legal in California?
You have to add a pedal kit, a headlight/brake light, and keep it locked at 28mph top speed. Then, yes it’s legal in California. Otherwise you’ll get tickets or even have the bike confiscated. Be careful and keep it in the bike lane. Check out the class 3 ebike laws on the CA dmv website :-)

I have a x260 and my friend has a x160 they are faster then advertised we weigh 110lbs and 90lbs. When im on the 260 I reach 82hm around 52mph
and on the 160 we get around 60khm which is around 37mph

Get a bigger battery you can fit 72V 42AH battery and put a BAC 4000 controller on it you will get 80mph and much more range. The 160 DC motor can handle it.
But if your nervous rider you can get the 60v 42ah battery and Sur ron x 260 controller and you will get more range and 49.6mph top speed for the 160

They really need to ban these. They are showing up at our parks with 16 year olds on them, and they race silently with modified ones hitting 50+mph and unlike with actual dirtbikes you have no clue they are about to run you over until its too late. They aren't street legal, and yet you see them flying down sidewalks and bicycle lanes as well.
But if they ban these then only criminals will have access to them.

Lmao I bought the bike. Not that bad, going 16 to 22 mph in the city gets me pretty far. I can climb all over the broken sidewalks with ease ✨
this bike doesnt really make sense. i mean it looks amazing like a dirt bike, but has a relatively low speed and range more like the Super 73. the top wattage is impressive, but this bike is crazy for people coming from an ebike pedaling background, and probably underwhelming to true motorcyclists or dirt bikers.
This specific bike in the review is the lower end model they offer a more expensive version with a higher top speed and distance range
this 1 is lower speed than my 1500w hub motor and that only cost me $700 for the hub motor and battery. if you're going to spend money on this type of "ebike/e dirt bike" get a sur ron, same price as the segway and higher top speed
