  • 🌟 The Secret to Flawless Twists: My Go-To Hair Routine 🌟
Hey, beautiful people! In this video, I'll be sharing my tried-and-true routine for achieving flawless twists. Whether you're aiming for better hair growth, or trying to stop shedding and retaining length. I've got some tips for you! Let's dive into my simple, quick, and easy steps to perfect twists.

First, I hydrate my hair with a moisturizing leave-in conditioner. Next, I detangle carefully to prep for styling. I use Braid Formula Super Hold Conditioning Gel to smooth out my roots and secure them with rubber bands. Always massage the scalp to boost blood circulation and promote hair growth!
    Here's a quick rundown:
    - *Hydrate:* Moisturizing leave-in conditioner
    - *Detangle:* Gently and thoroughly
    - *Apply Gel:* Braid Formula Super Hold Conditioning Gel
    - *Secure with Rubber Bands:* Not too tight!
    - *Twist:* Apply gel along the length
I also focus on keeping my hair stretched to make wash days and styling easier, which has been great for my length retention. A key tip: avoid oiling your hair after setting the style to maintain hold and minimize frizz.
I hope you find these hair care tips helpful! Remember, consistency is key for hair growth and preventing hair loss. Don't forget to comment, like, share, and subscribe!

Hey Anne Goody Brand Has An Ouchless Clear Band you can use instead of rubber bands. And also you can oil your rubber bands as well before using them.

I'll definitely take a look at them. Thank you for the advice.

Can’t wait for my tapered cut hair to grow in. Would love to put in nice twists. Your twists look nice and healthy. But where did you find that mirror.
It would sure help my parts too 😩😂

Why are you using rubber bands on twists? Rubber bands cause breakage and buildup

Well obviously she knows what she is doing because look at her hair 🔥🔥

I think she does that to keep the twist ‘tight’ at the base (near her scalp). I put my hair in twists but I don’t use any bands at the root of the twists and my twists ALWAYS loosen and begin to unravel at the root when I oil, massage and moisturize them in between wash days. Her twists stay neat and fully twists root to tip but mine become unruly and are not presentable before it’s time for wash day. I would be afraid to use any kind of band at the roots of my twists but I definitely see why she may choose to do so. She is far more courageous than I will ever be! And her hair is healthy and gorgeous!! 🥰

@@alisameireis3628 hi yes you are right . I too would be afraid for the reasons I stated especially at the root.
I have 2 suggestions for you that may help your dilemma.
      1. Use those little 2 Prong clips at the root like you would if twisting a loc.
      2. Put perm rods at your ends
Then, after twists dry remove clips and rods if you want and tie your hair down with a scarf after twists.
      I hope this helps.

@@aquafina6544 Thank you!!! Great suggestions…except I don’t know anything about locs. I’m thinking the clips you reference must be the ones I’ve seen holding the hair of little girls….would that be the clips about which you speak?? I do wrap my entire head after twisting and it looks really terrific UNTIL I oil and massage my scalp and moisturize my twists, that’s when the troubles begin. I’m going to try to find some of those clips. I don’t make tiny twists (I’m lazy and my hair is thick). I have 12 twists total. Six on each side, so they are rather chunky. I’m definitely going to give those clips a whirl. I have loads of perm rods but I don’t want my twists to be curly…just want them to stop coming down from the roots! Thank you, again!!!!

@@alisameireis3628 no not barrettes. They are metal clips that hold the loc in place so it won't unravel til it dries .
They are metal and flat. I wish CZcams allowed pics. Google duck bill clips and see if they come up. They are short with double prongs and silver metal.
