Fawad Khan’s acting is unmatchable!!! There are so many male actors in the Pakistan TV industry but Fawad’s looks and acting are beyond other's reach. Whenever I'm bored or can't find anything to watch, Humsafar is always the first show that comes to my mind.

No doubt Fawad is an amazing actor, though I think his acting shines much better in Zindagi Gulzar Hai. I truly hate the garbage, duplicitous and misogynistic character of Zaroon Junaid and the way FK is able to invoke those feelings in me by his acting shows he's a master of his craft.

What an eternal love story? I have no words. Such a pure, innocent love. No nuisance, no overacting, not a single over-showoff. Pakistani dramas are the best. You can watch it even with the entire family. I am not a Urdu speaking person so someone please explain what it means by "Bakirdar " when Ashar vouchs for Khirat's innocence.

Even tho they are together, Khirad will still have the bitter memories left. People remember the initial days of marriage. Especially when Khirad will remember her pregnancy she’ll have an empty feeling inside of her. No matter what Asher does for her, it’ll never go away.
Same way, Asher will never be able to forgive himself for the time he lost. See his newborn child, the suffering she had to go through. His wife’s life being completely ruined for four years. Similar to Dur E Shehwar
Also, loved the ending of the thunderstorm. Last time it happened, Asher learned that he truly loved Khirad. Now again when they’re coming together. I love when makers add nature and connect it to the characters.

Honestly I feel that Ashar could of done a lot to prevent this. I don’t understand why he didn’t want to marry Khirad since he had to marry someone. He got jealous over nothing and didn’t communicate his feelings to his wife or anyone else. If he felt uncomfortable with the way Khizer or anyone else was acting then he should of told them. He destroyed his relationship with his wife over a simple misunderstanding and never tried to make contact over the 4 year period. When Khirad was in labor and was in fear for her and her daughter’s life Ashar ignored her. If he truly felt bad than why didn’t he attempt contact? Why did he ever tell anyone how he felt? Though his mother was evil for making the plan, what happened afterward could of been avoided. Ashar didn’t stand up for his wife and didn’t hear her side of the story. His mother barely had to do anything. Nothing had to be destroyed. Ashar should of had a talk with Sara at the beginning about her feelings. They should of had a thorough talk but they didn’t until close to the end. Ashar should of had a talk with his mother to about his feelings but he didn’t. His mother made the plan and Ashar fell for it and made it something bigger than what it was supposed to be. Lives didn’t need to be destroyed

Please, please, please add English closed captions so non-native speakers can understand and enjoy this drama. I know it takes time and money, but there are many who would pay to watch this drama with subs. My friends and I would be MORE than willing to contribute financially to a version with subtitles. Very hopeful for that sometime in the future.

Every dialogue gives you goosebumps and all that writing and direction topped with impeccable acting. Im sure this series holds that value for most of us watching. Im sure your country has the same masterpiece, Something that is pure genius. Unfortunately language is a big barrier. Most people dont do justice in converting Urdu to English and not destroy any of its real beauty. Its just never the same in English. Translating Something like this will take alot of effort and money. And i guess netflix did but had to remove it. I really hope one day you get to enjoy such amazing works of both Pakistan and India in all their glory because believe me our entertainment industries just like Hollywood are filled with treasures like these.

People should learn a lesson from this drama that if you trouble an innocent Allah will never let it go, specially mother-in-laws should fear from Allah who trouble their daughter-in-laws.

The drama does a good job at showing why communication is important in relationships. The lack of communication caused their relationship to become weak from Ashar’s end. Through they knew each other for less than a year Ashar should of had some from of faith in Khirad. He should of had some form of trust for her. This drama really shows why talking about your feelings is so important

This last episode is crucial for the main girl to finally get justice for all that had happened to her, but 4 years is too long. Loved the main guy telling his mother how she robbed him of his happiness, her cruelty, deceiving, lying plot against his wife. What the mother did to separate her son from his wife and the treatment of his wife after that incident is unforgiveable and should be placed in a home by herself as a consequence. Missing the wife's reaction to her husband's stand against his mother and in defense for her and what her husband had to say. If I recall from Netflix, she said she doesn't know if she could forgive him when he asks her to forgive him. Would love to have seen them hug and kiss each other more often because this is a dramatic love story after all. Missing some words in the last few episodes.

I am not someone who ends up writing reviews but couldn't stop myself after being hooked to two masterpieces back to back. I came to Humsafar after watching zingadi Gulzar hai was so intrigued with Zindagi Gulzar hai I searched for more such brilliance and Humsafar was so so awesome each actor was simply so so great no overacting or over drama or stretching a scene like over a week perfectly told story in 23 awesome episodes you can't help but connect with character and feel their emotions that's how it is. I was like 10 yrs too late to watch this but can like watch it number of times and still feel the same. Mahira as khirad her innocence sweetness pain determination is way beyond words.
One thing I can for sure say indian daily soaps are in stone age if we set benchmark mark as shows like Humsafar , zindagi Gulzar hai etc
Looking forward to watch more of these drama. I'd like some suggestions

How is he narrow minded? He literally caught her alone with another man in a compromising Situation who told him to his face that they love eachother. He then got angry and left for few hours thrn when he got back home he found out that she had left. And then he finds out that Khizer is also gone. The evidence was just too much every normal human being would react this way. There is nothing narcisstic about that . Its Not like her mom manipulatef him into hating her thru words. She orchestrated an entire Scenario where there would be no doubt that kheirat cheated on him. And then kheirat started accusing his mom which he could have seen as gaslighting. Its easy for us viewers to shit on him because we know the entire context but if we were put in the same place as him 99% would have reacted the Same way. Even after beliving she cheated on him he didnt divorce her. Most man would have divorced her in a heartbeat after witnissing the stuff with his own eyes he did. So by that fact alone he is better than most men .
