Not only did his voice NEVER LOSE A NOTE, he actually got BETTER looking thru the 70's and 80's... It's like he's only now catching up to his age! WHAT A CHAMP!!!

Yes, it was a most wondrous year, right from the start, as my Charter, signed by Enge - for my Fan Club arrived in the mail on January 2nd....... so many wonderful things happened, and have continued right through until now, nearly 40 years later! Just a marvelous singer, and entertainer, and so gracious with his fans! Can't help but love this guy! xxx

And now it will be 50 years to celebrate, as in January, 2017, Engelbert and "Release Me" will celebrate the release of that song, that brought him the recognition he sought for so many years. Yes, 50 years will nave gone by, and doesn't he look as handsome as always, and that voice is as heart wrenching as it always was! Enge can really make the words of a song come alive. Congratulations, Engelbert, you earned it! Don't ever stop singing those love songs! xxx

Who cares about all the tecnicalities? I am entranced by the looks and sound of this gorgeous man!
The Bermuda Special was filmed in 1974, and shown on TV. I would imagine what you see, are filming, then cuts, to get it right. It was a wonderful show, with Enge on the beach sand, with the crowd, then down at the water, even on a boat, and in a buggy singing A Place In The Sun. It was the most wonderful Special, and I have no idea who has the rights to it. Monsanto was the sponsor and I have tried to trace it, to no avail. There are many videos showing the various songs Engelbert sang, but not the entire show.
I wish someone could get the ok to show the whole show for all of Engelbert's fans

I'm thinking that they used two cameras, at least, and that it was filmed in the round? So, at times, you're seeing the hotel to the left when one camera is used, and then the sea and the sand when they switch to another camera. But there's ANOTHER camera filming up in the hills somewhere at the end of the video. Who knows? Only The Shadow knows.

Two separate performances spliced and then joined to make one? Jumps back and forth at 1:27 and 2:08 and 3:06 and 4:19? That's the only explanation for the different audiences and the different settings.
