The mother and daughter on that coaster together was the greatest moment. I subscribed because of their cool relationship. Fun...
I loved how the bus stopped so you could get a good look at the bear! That was a lovely touch on the way to ride Anakeesta's Hellbender Mountain Coaster.
Everyone on the bus was happy the drive did that!

@@JK-js2tdBlack bears typically don't bother humans unless they are provoked or feel threatened. I've been within 50 feet of a black bear, as were at least a dozen other people, and he was just chillin' in a tree. He didn't care about our presence at all. I imagine it would be very different with a grizzly or polar bear, but black bears are pretty relaxed with humans. 🙂
I was part of the building crew that built this coaster and the bird venture which they are still doing maintenance on they are planning on removing the slides already because someone got hurt on them and it's too dangerous for kids it was a fun experience building on the park
Hi, we're from Scotland and came over to the smoky mountain area a few weeks ago. We love your videos, and you've showed us some great places and fun things to do. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to do many of the things we wanted to. But we still done a lot! We've been to the States many, many times but our first trip to pigeon forge and area. SO.....we're coming back next year! Yay! We were disappointed we never seen you doing your blogs - you seem to be everywhere! Perhaps next time! Oh, we actually did go to anakeesta and also astra lumina. It was amazing. The first one was the best as it looked like a UFO!
We rode this 4 years ago and it too short.Also didn't like that the ride started the way it did.

Anakeesta hell bender!!! OMG! I grew up riding Alpine slides… this looks sooooo fun! Aloha from Colorado!
This ride would be really awesome and somewhat spooky at night. The views on this ride are absolutely incredible. The beautiful woods that you ride throughout the coaster is amazing. This is more of a scenic ride than a 🎢🎢rollercoaster🎢🎢, but that's not taking anything away from this ride. The views are worth it 1000%!

This week is our 45th anniversary, we stayed in Gatlinburg and it was beautiful!! There was very little going on in Pigeon Forge though.. my how times have changed.
Those Bears love Annekesta. Last time I was there Momma was trying to bring her cub's up to Annekesta. Love that they got a coaster now. Great video Ryan.

I still have struggles feeling trapped, I tried riding the gondola on the way up to Anakeesta last time and realized I do better with the open vehicle. God is good, I am thankful for getting better!
@@AdventureIsOutThere I totally understand that feeling. Cleithrophobia is the scientific name for the fear of being trapped and it used to be quite the hurdle for me riding coasters etc too. Keep up the great videos 👍

I hope to ride the Anakeesta Hellbender Mountain Coaster some day. Maybe next time I am there. I have never been to Anakeesta yet. I loved seeing tbe bears and the view from up there was incredible! Absolutely beautiful! What a great adventure!! There are alotbof adventures out there and alot more adventures to be had.

We were there last week. Hellbender was down for 3 hours, so went on the other one twice. We did see a bear in the dumpster down below Hellbender though!! Very exciting!!

We went to the Smokies in 2021 and visited Anakeesta. We took the chair lift up and on the way back down we took the truck. Good thing we did because the chair stopped working. It was down for a long time, people were stuck on it.
If you watch any of our Anakeesta videos you would notice we always take the rambler (truck). People love the chairlift, but we like to be able to simply walk of the truck if it ever broke down for a period of time!
Rode my first mountain coaster on our last trip. Can't wait to ride Anakeesta Hellbender Mountain Coaster on our next trip!

Next time I'm in Tennessee I may check this out. When I went through Tennessee with my son a few years ago we rode the mountain coaster in Pidgeon Forge and it was a very interesting experience. ;)

Going on thanksgiving ❤ would love to try this. Taking my son for the 1st time since his granddaddy's early departure from us 😢RIP DADDY/Grandaddy- this was a special place he took his BFF (my son). We haven't been since he passed away. Thanksgiving won't be the same as our family is now broken. Sooo since there's no Turkey dinner for us, I decided to remember my dad by taking my son up there.
