San Juan Puerto Rico Temple Open House Offers Hope to Storm-Tossed Island

- Inspired by the Spanish colonial architecture of the territory’s historical landmarks, the San Juan Puerto Rico Temple is a single-story, 6,988-square-foot structure that sits on a 2.97-acre site.
The public is welcome to participate in the temple’s open house from December 1 through December 17 (except on Sundays). Admission is free. More information can be found here.
The San Juan Puerto Rico Temple is the first in the territory and the third in the Caribbean.

I love open houses. It's truly a blessing to have a temple near by. They need hope for the long the road ahead.

56 years ago, my mother went into labor while alone at our home in Ohio. Mom called our neighbor, a Puerto Rican American named Blanca, she rushed my mom to the emergency room, in her car, to give birth to me. Blanca watched me grow up to become a young man before she passed away. Because of the fast action of this wonderful woman, I have a VERY LARGE place in my heart for the Puerto Rican people and I hug them every chance I get.
Oh what a beautiful ppl who are members of restored gospel! I pray someday I'll make it to the temple ! 😊🙏🙏
I'm so happy for our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico because they have a holy temple! Despite the difficulties we go through in life, through the saving ordinances in the temple, we can be with loved ones for eternity! It's all possible because of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and his glorious Resurrection!
My brother served a mission in Puerto Rico and commented often on the challenges there. So happy for the people of Puerto Rico - felicidades!

Each temple is build by faith and many more prayers, open house truly a big blessing for all members and none members, anyone can come to see, temple is no secret, but is sacred, we dont go temple once or twice, we need go temple often, that's how we can feel more spirit of the lird, and learn more about gospel and convernant on the temple, i testifly , the temple is house of the lird, holiness to the lord
