- Road trip through Georgia! Starting in Tbilisi, we headed towards the south west, through Mtskheta, beautiful green mountainous countryside before arriving at Rabati castle in the town of Akhaltsikhe about 15km's from the border with Turkey. After Rabati, we headed to the incredible cave complex of Vardzia, exploring this monastery carved high up a mountain rock face! Then finally, on to the resort town of Borjomi, famous across the entire old Russian Empire and Soviet Union for its sanatoriums and the incredible spring water with supposed healing properties. Borjomi is now sold all of the world!

you could have said that in one or two comments, no need to spam. People get suspicious and think they asked you to do it...and it throws a bad light on them (even though they very likely have nothing to do with it).
@@Georgian2go Agreed but there are certain rules and regulations by CZcams for viewers they can choose to like or dislike the videos or agree or disagree with with any content, as of now i have not seen such rules that shows the sending more comments are part of spam or people are paying some amount to do that

It would help those videos more. It's true that Muslims had to pay fewer taxes than Christians but in some parts of Georgia, ottomans killed any Christian who refused to convert to Islam (They even killed children in front of their mother's eyes and had no mercy to women and old people.) But even though all that very few Georgians converted.

For all its purposes he was not pure Christian because he used the church as a political bargain! Now about killings... I think you forgot to learn about the differences between religion and race. Hitler didn't hate Judaism, he hated Jews. He ordered 6 million Jews to be killed because he hated them, he used them to remain in power, he blamed them for Germany's loss in the great war. In the holocaust, everything was about race and nothing was about religion.

Don’t get it wrong the ottomans definitely did use violence as well as economic and other forms of oppression, they would force people to step on icons and crosses to refute their religion or be beheaded, etc
Also if u look into Turkish and Georgian history and wars, at one point Turkish would come and take 5000 hand picked Georgians mostly women to better their ethnicity change how they look, look lighter and multiply, they ran through adjara, that’s why some Georgian u might see there can be tanner, as Georgians themselves are white skinned not middle eastern looking very few darker can be traced back to the Turks and the terrible things they did, although no Georgian identifies w Turks, but Georgians managed to keep their bloodline and ethnicity which is impressive all these years, majoriety are pure Georgians, even during Soviet era they didnt mix ethnicities some say it’s even genetic attraction to each other🤣 beautiful people and women, Tbilisi is my fav European city, with wars Georgia won many like battle of Basiani 400k Turks vs 65k Georgians, Georgians won the war, but there were wins and losses on both sides
By the way I am Russian not Georgian so i don’t think I am biased though I do have much love for Georgia🤣I am also a history fanatic😂 but based on history ottomans were terrible and Turks especially to the Georgians were terrible although relations are more neutral now, I wish Russian and Georgian relations would settle too and Russia would leave Abkhazia and South Ossetia alone as I do believe it is Georgian land we have enough it’s Putin straining the relationship with our neighbors and everyone else but yes thought I would share
