reason a lot of the subies have the porsche engine is because they’re both iconic flat/boxer engines
Plus, some high trim versions of their larger models, like the outback, have had flat 6 engines before that sound a lot like Porsche engines.
Think flat 6 is Porsche know flat 4s Subaru

Fun fact you forgot to mention - only 209 were made... typical Subaru lol But, I love my non-limited edition STi just the same lol. And if you've ever owned one, you can hear that 4-cylinder boxer coming from a mile away! So glad to see a newer STi finally come to FH5

I’ve noticed on most of the the car builds I’ve done the stock exhaust is actually louder and most of the time sounds better than the race exhaust
For sure! Race exhaust is alot worse sounding on the majority of cars I have upgraded

I usually only run race with v8s
The best road racing build I’ve made for that has the 4.0 flat six, I found the reduction in weight to be worth having a bit less power. It’s very easy to drive and super stable.
When you say less weight and less power do mean less traction to the ground?

@@Alock94 the car itself weighed less which helped it change direction a bit quicker, plus the slight decrease in power just means that it’s a bit slower in a straight line. Weight does not always mean grip. That’s a very valid question, no need to be sorry.

Fun fact, they made a prototype of the Cyclone that was a giant hatchback and had an ATV that went in the back. It was crazy stuff.

The 6.2 L V8 is the C7 Corvette engine from the sound it makes and from the stock displacement.
