Unique productions with Denniz Pop. Talent, Sound and feeling. They still sounds great and modern, these Denniz productions.
Denniz va ett geni❤. Blir ALDRIG glömd!!! ❤️
What an interesting documentary. I have allways been curious about what and who was behind Ace of base. It is very interesting too to listen to the critic, and his point of view. Apparently swedish critics were as harsh with Abba in the 70´s as they were with Ace of base in the 90´s... and the music of both groups are still around... I wonder who was and is right... Thanks for posting
I reached out to Maurice Hawkesworth who watched parts of this video and laughed. Maurice Hawkesworth was the A&R Creative Manager at Mega records, he has written a book about the inside story of Ace of Base and according to Maurice their will be a few feelings hurt in the process. His reaction to this video was " well at least Dr Alban is telling the truth and one last thing at Mega Records we knew about the AOB song entitled The Sign in 1992 and we hired Denniz Pop before Arista had heard the song" He did want to thank Richard for singing some of the text Hawkesworth claims to have written in the book . According to Hawkesworth "I wrote the ending of The Sign at the last minute in Cheiron studios, the part And Im happy now living without you I left you whoa whoa ""Jonas promised to credit me and give me a small publishing cut but instead he stole my lines" said Hawkesworth.
Thank you for putting up all this stuff on Cheiron Productions and the people behind it. I've been missing info on this fascinating era of pop music.
If denniz were still alive, we'd have that funk-euro pop sound going on.
English subtitles ARE available!!! Even the info says that. Use the lower right red icon to activate it if the subtitles don't appear automatically.
Thank you so much for that!
Damn! Can anyone provide english subtitles? I really want to know about Cheiron! I love their work!
I didn't know that!
@rnbsteenstar - haha! when i saw this video, I was thinking the very same thing. I was thinking... "Well, let me remember this label because i will NOT sign with them.." LOL!
@BASSER81 Oh yes it is, then it won't be long until the cheiron sound returns.
and Lucky Love would serve as there biggest hit in sweden
@neetrab Damn rite!
GRRRR @ this multi-language video
I guess I know not to sign up with Telegram records! I'm sure I could still get the funk euro-pop sound in my songs if I request it.
I dunno. . .
@OrgyComplex hahahahah another ten years eh, NOT IF I COULD HELP IT!
I kind of missed something. Why did the swedish people say that this was like a slap to their face? In other words... why did they hate Ace of Base SOOOOOOO much?? Just cause they weren't getting 22 mill on THEIR debut album doesn't mean they have to rain on someone else's parade.
He spoken him lyrics and this guy immediately know this would be a hit. Hahahaha what a load of crap
He said that Denniz sang the lyrics, not said them.
