Yes there is, use about a litre of any old aquarium water in the new aquarium and leave it to cycle for 2 weeks and then test the water for ammonia and add fish

Nice information Mayur ji. Im planning to upgrade my non planted aquarium after few months as my goldfishes are getting bigger.. So i have a question related to cycling.. What if I put a sponge filter in my old aquarium now and then after i bought the new aquarium in 2-3 months i just shift the sponge? will it start the cycle early ? and one more question.. If i just put the sponge in aquarium without air pump. will the bacteria grow in it or not after few months?

You don't have to worry so much, wash the new tank I with salt water and again with fresh water so there is no salt residue,
Then use the water and filter form your old tank, as it is already cycled

The sponge filter will colonise the bacteria, so you could use a good bacteria,

Sir no water change is required during this cycling period for my 2ft half bare bottom tank, right? Just added API Super 4 today in the Canister filter with your API bio-media. It is half bare bottom and in half there is a small Anubias plant in a driftwood with few stones. No fish now. Please suggest.

Mine filter is a ordinary that is water goes up to the filter sponge and return back to the aquarium (You know what I mean). I have seen lot of food waste accumulated in the filter sponge .
