  • @PullPal is a land anchor designed to serve as a strong point to pull yourself out when there are no trees or other cars around to help.
    The land we tested on was a bit hard so it was easy. We will make another test in deep watery mud soon.

      i actually did the same thing, i designed one and made a local welder make it.. but it had a design flaw.... it wouldnt submerge ... so i just contacted the pullpal manufacturer and ordered! its great so far!

      @@valkyrierescues7861 I wondered how they would work in sand .I cobbled mine from a spade shovel, and square tube from a bunk bed it plows good but to heavy. I went a lil overboard with
      gussets lol, I'll probably end up doing the same and order a good one.

    You didn't have your recovery chain on your anchor. I only made that mistake once!

    How does it work in ground that is frozen solid? Such as would be found late winter in North Dakota or other cold regions where frost goes down 3 or 4 feet! Demo please.

    • @pacek9341
      @pacek9341 Před 5 měsíci +1

      It can be a challenge to get it started and might need manual help, but it ends up working well. Had friends that carried them in Alaska.

      @dondavidson3440 Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@pacek9341 I would like to see an actual demonstration. When excavators and backhoes need special “frost buckets” to penetrate the frozen soil, I really don’t see this getting much bite. But then I am always willing to learn something new.

    • @haveraygunwilltravel
      @haveraygunwilltravel Před 5 měsíci

      Yes I live up there. You won't get stuck in the mud when it's frozen. Usually you can dig your way out of the snow. Running off the road into a deep ditch, well hope some one shows up to help. Lol

      unlike how i did it, the proper way is to tie a tree saver beforehand so the extraction becomes easy. theres a hole made for that purpose.
