    I liked this video, however I would have appreciated some of the negatives about the desks. What are the downsides of buying a cheaper desk? Is it unstable? Are the materials generally cheaper? Things like this would provide a more full picture of each of these desks.

    Why do you review only Flexispot EC1? E7 and E7H are probably among the greatest desk deals.

    • @btodtv
      @btodtv  Před 5 měsíci

      I don’t have a problem with the product.
      I have a problem with who is backing it. Don’t you find it odd they can’t reveal the companies that produce their surfaces or frames? Or that they create posts to bash their own customers?
      Maybe you should spend some more time looking into the brand in Reddit. And not just the astroturfing or upvoting they do with their multiple accounts.
      Personally, I don’t care what company you go with. But you asked why we won’t review it.
      The simple truth is you can buy an Uplift Desk that uses the same internal components with better stability, a warranty that is more likely to be covered in the long run for the same price. And as a bonus they act like a real business and treat their customers with respect.

    • @motorvor77
      @motorvor77 Před rokem

      @@btodtv That's entirely fair. I look at it as more of a trade off between supporting local and knowing I'm getting a solid product from the get go versus a big brand with less attention to quality larger markups, despite maybe being more comfortable with an larger company.

    • @btodtv
      @btodtv  Před rokem +1

      I disagree. Uplift offers very similar Jiecang frame quality and the exact same internal components (gears, motors, control box, etc.) for the same price, but offers better support today and in 10 years. They are significantly smaller in size than Herman Miller and Steelcase as well. So you're still supporting a privately owned local company, that has 20 years experience providing service to customers who invest $1000+ into products purchased through their store -GK

      @motorvor77 Před rokem +2

      @@btodtv For the two leg version, sure I can understand how Uplift may make more sense. But you're claiming the best standing desk at each price point and none of the higher price points are a 4-legged desk. I would imagine a 4-legged desk would be more solid than a 2-legged, ie the Apex Pro. You've reviewed lots of other far less notable desk brands, just seems odds to not review Deskhaus at this point, you can even include the caveats you mentioned above.

    Nlg, but I prefer my $300 Costco standing desk over the $7000 since mine has a nice glass top, a shelf to store my stuff in it, and I can charge my phone on top of it bc it has a spot for that. It also has the programmable heights and on the side it has for one to connect usb cables, so one can charge stuff using the desk. It's pretty good imho and I see it as better than that $7000 one.

    I need a desk that supporys 3x 24" monintors and a butcherblock table thats 3m wide. None of these look to cover the weight or size? I have many monitors for my job and along with my tower and laptop, and other prepherals im worried they wont work with the weights.

    for that price you should try a studio desk the are surely better than Ergonofis Sway or the NewHeights S Series for a lot less money as well ^^

      @@btodtv studio desk that's the brand the mostly do musician desk but only the valor or the orbit series from them are easily better quality than any others 2k standing desk ^^ there's no match for them you should try one
      I have got the valor desk combined with 2 rack 19" pod + keyboard tray and damn is so solid and modular !!!

      To me that looks like a cool top, paired with an imported frame that isn't as nice as the $500 option I recommended in the video. I can 100% assure you, the surfaces and frames on the Ergonofis and NewHeights picks in my video are far superior in quality. Doesn't mean they are best for your needs though, which I get -GK

      @@btodtv well only the table top is weighted at 40kg for the studio desk he is pretty loud and solid he handle all my gears included my genelec speaker that are 8350 that are 13kg each, my audio interface motu 1248 + 2 rack pod 19" 2U each that include my powercondtionner and the desk also handle a keyboard tray + all my syntth that are weighted arround 20kg, my analog monitor controllers / converters for the speaker, and of course keyboard, mouse and dual monitor arm that handle 2x34" monitor stacked vertically + mic arm and elgato arm for my camera and my light like i said this desk rocks !!
      and the desk still rock solid even with more than 100kg of gears on it yes it match my need especialy since valor and the orbit series is the perfect match between streaming music and gaming setup it's like an all in one desk but it's also very large is arround 2meter of large 1 meter of deep ^^ and no bend at all for the table top even with a dual screen loaded in the middle so yeah it rock solid
      but i don't those desk feel very little and overpriced for the size of it i think ^^

    I've been eyeing a 47" standing desk with built-in drawers from a company called Eureka Ergonomics, and their website says they're based in CA and that all their products are made in house.
    Haven't seen that many reviews yet, hope you guys could do a review on one of their desks in a future video.

      I'm not a big fan of the Eureka line of electric standing desks. I would put them in the entry level and the quality I have seen isn't great. They did a good job with a standing desk converter they made, but the electric frames aren't that godo IMO -GK
