The prophet ﷺ did translate the Quran through the way he lived his life. The Prophet's ﷺ “character was the Qur'an,” as described by his wife, 'Āishah (rA)

The Hadees quoted simply talks about the Prophet's character which is akin to Quran.This is true as much as it relates to the Do's and Don'ts and prescriptive aspects contained in Quran.How about those verses which carry scientific import or talk about eschatological aspects ;they do need interpretation and certainly cannot be known through character of the Prophet.

This was a great video and topic to bring up however I feel as though the intro and title may be a but misleading. This is the question I could never get the answer to, even after asking in muslim forums. I was thinking about this today and subhan Allah this video showed up! This now finally makes sense to me, really jazakum Allah khayr for this. The question I had in my mind was why did Ibn abbas differ with Aisha for example concerning if the Prophet (saw) saw Allah or not during Al Isra if the Prophet explained and taught all of them. And why do sahaba differ on what al dukhan is in surat Al dukhan? Turns out the Prophet (saw) didn’t interpret all of the Quran for them (I know there are some ahadith where he did interpret some verses). And thinking of the aya of surat Ali Imran, those who are sincere will be guided anyways because the fundamentals are clear. Yup, most of the times for me as well, Allah sends guidance through the algorithm. I just read the verse from Surah Fussilat yesterday and Subhaanallah I don't really know how deep that one verse means beyond the translation.

Just adding something from my poor knowledge, Prophet Muhammad SAW said, there is an apparent (Zahir) meaning and there is inner (batin) meaning and this goes to even Seven (perfection or infinity) folds. Allah SWT reveals the Knowledge to the true and sincere seekers and what better gift than knowledge one can get from Him.
Deeds that reward a person equal to hajj if he does them correctly and sincerly 1. Perform Ablution properly and go for each obligatory salat in Masjid 2. After praying salat Fajr in congregation, then wait (15-20 minutes) till after sunrise to perform two superogratory rakat 3. Perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equal to Hajj 4. Going to Masjid to learn/teach beneficial knowledge 5. Saying SubhanaLlah 33, AlhamduliLlah 33, Allahu Akbar 33, and then say La ilaha ill-Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir
