You done fantastic research on the video honestly I see a lot of people talk about us but they didn’t go into as much detail even noticing the b team and the fact it’s in the second division. We have the perfect circumstances to be a youth development club.

Benfica is for sure the best academy of the last 10years: 2 of the best GKs in the world (Oblak, Ederson), 2 of the best defenders in the world (Cancelo, Ruben Dias), 1 of the best CMs in the world (Bernardo Silva), 2 Golden Boys (Felix and Renato Sanches), 1 of the best young strikers in the world (Gonçalo Ramos). Current wave: Antonio Silva (one of the best young CBs in the world), Joao Neves (one of the best young CMs in the world). If Benfica had the economic power to keep the academy stars plus the best scouting recruits and Benfica would be aiming for the CL semi finals every year. Imagine: Ederson, Cancelo, Ruben Dias, Antonio Silva, Grimaldo, Enzo, Bernardo Silva, Joao Neves, Felix, Ramos, Darwin. Subs: Oblak, Lindelof, Semedo, Witsel, Renato Sanches, Jota (ex Celtic), Goncalo Guedes.

Love the video and the analysis, definitely found it a good watch, I’d say Benfica are the best at developing players for profit but I’d say La Masia is the best

Thanks mate! There’s definitely a shout for Barca, especially in the 2000’s. They don’t normally sell on players do they, suppose they normally want to stay there!

It's typical for the top 5 teams of the league to develop the good young players providing them with accommodation and guidance .the young players still need to be students with satisfactory grades or they not play

True, but seeing academies work in England, a lot of them don’t live on site. Some get put with digs families but a lot just travel to the games

Man U has a strong U18 team and Mainoo is coming on his own. Maybe Manchester United is starting to trend in that direction.

Mainoo looks good and Garnacho will be a star soon. Reckon they can ever beat the 90s youth team, will be tough.

Manchester United is the one to start that trend and is their core DNA. Check out the Busby babes story.

I will argue Barca, but for both of these cities is the same. In Portugal school is optional, good weather and all the kids play football. Same in Spain even their school is mandatory.

Barca are still definitely up there but in terms of saleability, Benfica are definitely top. But this new crop of Barca talent do look good!
