Catherine, this is my first comment on any channel. It is very nice to see you back as i have missed your cheerfulness. I now understand how difficult to has been for you at time. Fantastic news about your training, I am sure you'll be great at a maternity nurse. Thank you for sharing your fertility issues. For me it was always going to bd a long shot, tbut dif not stop the hope and longing. I am still greiving at times my 3 failed attempts even after 8 years. I felt very lonely at time and i ma thankful to family and frients supporting me (I was doing this as a single person). I wish you all the best. Lots of love to you and your family, I had IVF after two eptopic pregnancies. I was very low when I was told I couldn’t have more children. Science is magic in my opinion and even though there is 9 and a half years between my children I’m so glad IVF is an option. I wish you and your wife all the luck in the world. X

What to say, I'm so sorry that you've gone through such heartache. I hope with all my heart that the new clinic gives you a miracle baby. ❤ I waited 7 years for my Daughter, this was before IVF, I took every drug going. She is 45 now, so it was a long time ago. Oh you lovely lady. I have too had a similar journey only I got pregnant but simply couldn’t carry . I think you have done a wonderful thing by talking about your journey so far…. Dear Katherine, you still managed a rather chirpy video. Thanks for sharing. I do think that even young women are not aware, how often the journey to having kids can be very challenging and difficult. I only had one miscarriage and it was tough. So I can't even imagine, what you are going through together with Kirsti. You chose an interesting new career. For me, after my miscarriage I was struggling for a while whenever I saw happy babyfaces. Advertisements for diapers, holidays, furniture, washing detergent.... were not easy for me. Thanks for sharing, and all the best. ❤

@sewvertonmakery No, don't worry about me. This happened ~20 years ago, and I was lucky enough to have a healthy baby after that. And I had already a 2 year old girl when it happened. So it all worked out for me. Doesn't mean that these weren't tough days and months, but when I was lying in hospital for my miscarriage I saw so many women, who had much worse stories. I learned to have gratitude for my situation. But I wish you all the best, try to rest and gather energy and hope. And never forget that you have already a loving wife and a gorgeous Sebastian.
Oh no don't apologise as it was still chirpy. So glad you've returned and it's great to get an update as we're all busy doing our own thing. Sending lots and lots of positive thoughts your way for every success with your next "go". Miscarriage is really common I found out and that isn't even on top of IVF. I can't speak personally on the experience though as I had three pregnancies and three babies (my issues were birthing them naturally). Thankyou for being so positive and upbeat because I can understand that it wouldn't be easy after so many attempts. Looking forward to hearing celebratory news down the track.

I'm so sorry that it hasn't happened yet. I know how devastating miscarriages are, having gone through them myself. I went through a lot of fertility treatments and tests too. I didn't get to try in vitro though because the specialist was a complete jerk and said that since I already had a healthy little boy, I should be ashamed of myself for wanting to try in vitro when there are others out there when don't ven have one child, and my son would be better off as an only child so he doesn't have to compete for anything. And he was considered the best in his field for our region. I'd hate to see the worst. What got me the most was that 2 friends of mine were in the same boat as me and one had a second child by in vitro and one got a second and a third child. I'm thrilled for them, but can't figure out what I had done to be spoken to like that. He also told me I was just too fat to get pregnant (at 5'10" and 142 lbs with 22%body fat when I got tested at the gym.) This was another trigger for me because I had felt huge and fat all my life, not realizing that at a head taller than the rest of the girls my age, of course I was going to be larger. But thats another story. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your little family, that you are blessed with another sweet little addition to your family soon.
