I would like to say what a blessing and THANKS so much because unfortunately I needed to do this with 3 tablets that I purchased for my 3 younger kids for Christmas...I was beginning to question myself was this such a good idea to make a purchase for my 13, 5, and 4 year old at an early age. I was so having second thoughts but then again, I'm the one who placed the passwords on all of them.... So once again thanks a bunch and this tutorial was oh so very helpful!!!! I could like this video a trillion times!

You are not crazy! These are the most affordable things for kids to play games on especially when they change what they like all the time. With these you just delete the game and download another. We have these and give them our old phones for music, camera, games and to call 911 if something is wrong. This is how my family recycles lol

I was able to wipe/reinstall a frozen tablet and now it is working. Too bad there isn't a key combination to change it from HOT pink!!! LOL!!! Thanks again.

Thanks man you saved me from buying another tablet. I used root and playing around with an app that unlocks your device I used it then went to a black screen so I had to shut it off and was stuck on the boot screen. until I found this tutorial I got back my tablet before I used that app. Remember when rooting make a back up.

Ever notice how no one ever shows the tablet actually working again after this manual factory reset? Well, I did , I ordered a new screen and replaced it also thinking maybe it was something I did wrong, to be honest, I think this is a set up for failure , and I'm real sorry I tried it, so I would say unless you, are 100 certain it is the same tablet being shown, working afterwards, I would advise against it to save yourself a lot of frustration and disappointment.
This video really helped and I tried it before but this time it stays on the RCA screen with the black color after the dog screen please help

On my wife RCA Tablet you have to hold down the Power & Up Volume for 4 seconds only and when you let it go that options screen then comes on. If you continue to hold down those buttons as you do on yours it doesn't do anything when you release the buttons. So I guess even though the Tablets appear to be the same, not all work the same!

Why does the RCA Voyager II take so long to boot up? Is there an update that needs to be installed? This tablet is pretty good for the price, the fact that is has a quad core processor means that it's a powerful computer. The only downside that it has is a 1 mp camera, which is that worst camera that I have ever used. It also takes a while for it to boot up, otherwise it's a fairly good device. It looks like a regular tablet, not cheap at all and it has a great speaker. It also has a lot of security features and gps as well. Once you install a 32 GB micro SD card it will be a much better tablet.
Great video with more help than I ever thought I would have. However, I ran into a slight problem. When trying to wipe data and reboot the RCA Yoyager tablet did all that I asked. There were some differences in the results. The small robot image never showed up during the process. It showed it was deleting data and when it was finished. Again, the small light green robot never showed up at all. In the end, the tablet never had the screen to pick a language. On the screen, it just showed the word Yoyager iin white lettering and in black backround. I turned off the power, tried several times to repeat the process. It went directly to a blue welcome screen, with the language selection. So I clicked on that... selected English. Then it went to find a wifi signal. No settings page would come up.... So now I am stuck. Its a shame, my father got it as a gift last Christmas. And for a whole year just sat, unable to use. So any suggestions you have would be appreciated. I am completely stuck and could use some help. Thanks!
