@@torradasuprema395 rtx 3060 has more avg fps than rx 6600 in this game + it has dlss which it much better than fsr and actually usable and much better raytracing performance (doesn't really matter in this game). I personally have rtx 4070 so I'm fine.
The thing is, the 3050 may get less frames in games than the 6600, but it is a far more competent GPU for 3D work in general, by a large margin, unmatched by any other in its price range. Its ray tracing capabilities make it particularly good for that. If you wonder why someone would pick the 3050 instead of the 6600, that is the main reason. It's a more complete package for creators who still want a good GPU for gaming. To get the same performance in 3D rendering and animation as the 3050 with an AMD GPU, you will need a much higher end GPU than the 6600.
@@Siamkhan-D You have no idea how powerful the 3050's ray tracing really is, do you? The 3050 completely annihilates the AMD cards when it comes to 3D rendering. This is extremely important. It means artists can more quickly iterate on renders, it means animation is possible with a ray tracer, etc. It doesn't matter if the 3050 can't keep 60 FPS with RT on in games, the RT cores on that card means rendering in minutes what would otherwise take hours. It means finishing an animation in one night instead of in a week. The 6600 doesn't even register, you would need a much better AMD GPU to even compete. RT may not make a lot of difference in games, but in 3D it's a huge advantage. In other words: the fact the 3050 is an RTX card with RT capabilities means it's an incredible budget GPU for 3D rendering. It only really competes with the other NVIDIA GPUs.
I hope when AMD releases drivers for this game it will improve that raytracing performance, more for the high-end really, but it seems bugged or something in its current state.
My rtx 3060 laptop is having the same performance with the rx 6600. With optimized settings and medium preset I am having similar fps. Specs: Acer predator helios 300, rtx 3060 + i5 12500h
Was expecting it to run much worse than this tbh, considering that this game has denuvo ontop software based RT that can't be turned off entirely, it can maintain high 30s, did they released game ready driver for Black myth wukong yet? Last i heard they strangely pull off 24.8.1 which supposedly intended for this game 🤔
No frame gen for AMD cards sucks for this game although it could be possible to use some form of frame gen with a mod maybe fsr 3 mod or something I’m not sure but the game is heavy and dlss frame gen really helps out significantly for Nvidia Gpu’s. The frame gen doesn’t actually work without dlss enabled so if you use fsr or the intel upscaling neither of those actually get frame gen even if it’s enabled it doesn’t actually do anything without dlss…….
FSR 3 FG should've been disabled for anything other than RDNA cards. It seems to work exceptionally well for RDNA and at best decent for other cards. Look at the frame time graph in the video it's basically flat smooth whereas if you watch the rtx 3070 video you'll see it's thicc

The full open snow area at the entry of ch3 was dropping frames to 65, but it got better later.
Intro scene is weird. Turning off Frame Gen I get 50-60 fps, turning it on I get 30-40 fps. 😂 try it bro.
