No doubt. 9/11 was terrible, of course. But the parks were empty then, too. We were passholders, living in Jax. We could ride the rides, and they wouldn’t even make us get off before going around again. I don’t know if you were visiting then or not, but it did spoil us.

While I'm glad to see the park open, I just dont think I could enjoy myself with all the restrictions in place. The magic is just gone with the distractions. Hopefully normal comes soon enough
Oh normal will not return to the states for this reason exactly. Just look at the states that have the highest infection numbers and ask yourself why ?

They have an internal cooling ventilation in the uniforms to stay cool and not overheat. Though in the 90s and 80s it was bad for a character due to exhaustion and overheating

LMFAO if you actually this virus is more harmful than the yearly flu. How many people die of the flue oh yeah up to 61k. This virus is no more contagious than the flu. I myself am on 2 immunosuppressants and haven’t gotten this. I go out daily and use hand sanitizer anytime I touch anything or use my credit card but I will not wear a mask in the Florida weather sorry. Once people realize this virus only ends once we all just get it the better. Oh and btw the deaths in Orange County Fl rn are at 77 since all this so yeah it’s so bad and rampant. Maybe if you live in the California of Florida... Miami but that’s a self caused issue there.

I'm gonna wait until the pandemic is completely over and restrictions lifted to set foot in a Disney theme park. It doesn't sound too fun to wear a face mask in the park the entire time especially in 90 degree temperature

Megan Young - I don’t see paying this sort of $$ for a partial experience. Being a past Disney cast member, I would tell first timers to save their 💰 & come another time when you can experience it for real... if you are an avid goer - you’ll be disappointed because you know what’s missing. Still, lines will be quick, so that is positive.
JA G being a current CM & a pass holder, I say if people want to come, let them come & try to be as comfortable as you can be to enjoy the experience. You do as you like though & let other guest look for tips to find the park more enjoyable. Be well.
In regards to new guest, sure. Wait for the entire experience. But if they’re really itching to go, low wait times, low capacity, lots of water, & masks to swap is my tip.

When you went through the security checkpoint and the security guard called you by name, I bet that brought back some horrible memories from the past. It did for me, that’s for sure. Crazy to think of how long ago that was. Hopefully Universal can forgive and forget soon.
Pop Eye it was based on videos he posted back in 2012. Sneaking into Nickelodeon Studios and what not. Check that video out if you haven’t before, it’s awesome.
I didn’t realize you were new. He was banned from Disney World years back also and was let back in after 2 years. He has a video that explains how he was banned then he has videos of him and Justin Scarred going back after he was unbanned. All big parts of Adams CZcams past, you have many milestones and inside jokes to catch up on and I highly suggest doing that. It’s been a crazy ride and I am very happy I started from the beginning. One of the best things about Adam is how he knows tons other CZcamsrs that have similar interest as him and you get to know other great CZcamsrs through his videos. Probably half of the videos put out every day by people I subscribe to are people he introduced in a video. Their are 4 different CZcams channels represented in just this video.

@@R3l3ntl3sss you've got it wrong, my friend. Knowing the inside of how these things operate, they are actually losing more money being open (and paying staff, other costs; COG, etc), than they would be if they were shutdown.
This was a dress rehearsal to test out the new safety policies and procedures. This was an annual passholder preview, they also did a cast member preview. The crowds will be a little larger once the park (which is today) is officially reopened. The limited capacity reservations were booked full.
The Bike Watcher you’re an idiot if u think they are open full anytime soon. hell there will be an outbreak sooner than later. Disney World will more than likely be closed again in a couple of weeks.
I'll pay extra NOT to wear the fucking mask. Disney can't limp along like this for long. They're bleeding money. With more people working in the parks than visiting them, now they're losing even MORE money. They have to close again or go to much shorter weeks. What they're doing is untenable.

I’m really curious about some of those employees wearing face shields. Is that a requirement or was that a employee choice? Dose Disney know something customers/ we don’t know about how the virus spreads.
I’m assuming they’re using face shields because they come into closer contact with people entering and exiting the ride vehicles. The eyes are a viral point of entry so the extra precaution is wise.

I am so glad you documented this. It's still insane to me what our country went through and is still going through; but looking back its good to remember it could be worse.
I'm gonna wait until the pandemic is completely over and restrictions lifted to set foot in a Disney theme park. It doesn't sound too fun to wear a face mask in the park the entire time especially in 90 degree temperature

Megan Young - I don’t see paying this sort of $$ for a partial experience. Being a past Disney cast member, I would tell first timers to save their 💰 & come another time when you can experience it for real... if you are an avid goer - you’ll be disappointed because you know what’s missing. Still, lines will be quick, so that is positive.
JA G being a current CM & a pass holder, I say if people want to come, let them come & try to be as comfortable as you can be to enjoy the experience. You do as you like though & let other guest look for tips to find the park more enjoyable. Be well.
In regards to new guest, sure. Wait for the entire experience. But if they’re really itching to go, low wait times, low capacity, lots of water, & masks to swap is my tip.

When you went through the security checkpoint and the security guard called you by name, I bet that brought back some horrible memories from the past. It did for me, that’s for sure. Crazy to think of how long ago that was. Hopefully Universal can forgive and forget soon.
I’m a new viewer..I’ve heard this referenced before, but didn’t know why he got banned from Universal. What happened?
Pop Eye it was based on videos he posted back in 2012. Sneaking into Nickelodeon Studios and what not. Check that video out if you haven’t before, it’s awesome.
I didn’t realize you were new. He was banned from Disney World years back also and was let back in after 2 years. He has a video that explains how he was banned then he has videos of him and Justin Scarred going back after he was unbanned. All big parts of Adams CZcams past, you have many milestones and inside jokes to catch up on and I highly suggest doing that. It’s been a crazy ride and I am very happy I started from the beginning. One of the best things about Adam is how he knows tons other CZcamsrs that have similar interest as him and you get to know other great CZcamsrs through his videos. Probably half of the videos put out every day by people I subscribe to are people he introduced in a video. Their are 4 different CZcams channels represented in just this video.

@@R3l3ntl3sss you've got it wrong, my friend. Knowing the inside of how these things operate, they are actually losing more money being open (and paying staff, other costs; COG, etc), than they would be if they were shutdown.

This was a dress rehearsal to test out the new safety policies and procedures. This was an annual passholder preview, they also did a cast member preview. The crowds will be a little larger once the park (which is today) is officially reopened. The limited capacity reservations were booked full.
The Bike Watcher you’re an idiot if u think they are open full anytime soon. hell there will be an outbreak sooner than later. Disney World will more than likely be closed again in a couple of weeks.

I'd wear a mask all day to be in the park at 25% capacity any day. 100 degree heat or not!
I'll pay extra NOT to wear the fucking mask. Disney can't limp along like this for long. They're bleeding money. With more people working in the parks than visiting them, now they're losing even MORE money. They have to close again or go to much shorter weeks. What they're doing is untenable.

I’m really curious about some of those employees wearing face shields. Is that a requirement or was that a employee choice? Dose Disney know something customers/ we don’t know about how the virus spreads.
Face shields are a waste of money
Between a mask and a face shield, I would assume a face shield is more comfortable for breathing.
I’m assuming they’re using face shields because they come into closer contact with people entering and exiting the ride vehicles. The eyes are a viral point of entry so the extra precaution is wise.
